>>>>>the rumor of their impending divorce is as highly exaggerated as the story of Mark Twain's death while he was still alive and kicking<<<<<
Since Mark Twain is, in fact, dead, then the gist of this is the divorce is coming, it's just a matter of time.

She's the toast of the Austin GLBI community. Which is sizeable.

I'm nearly 70, and don't know what the hell GLBI means....
I suspect it means she's wired wrong?

I partial to this "Ratherism:"
"Now, after extensive additional interviews, I no longer have the confidence in these documents that would allow us to continue vouching for them journalistically. I find we have been misled on the key question of how our source for the documents came into possession of these papers. That, combined with some of the questions that have been raised in public and in the press, leads me to a point where-if I knew then what I know now-I would not have gone ahead with the story as it was aired, and I certainly would not have used the documents in question.
But we did use the documents. We made a mistake in judgment, and for that I am sorry. It was an error that was made, however, in good faith and in the spirit of trying to carry on a CBS News tradition of investigative reporting without fear or favoritism.
Please know that nothing is more important to us than people's trust in our ability and our commitment to report fairly and truthfully."

It's all Dan's fault!
I've always suspected he squats to pee, and NEVER leaves the seat up.

A simple look at a map would answer your question, had it occurred to you to do so.
Actually it occured to me that it was easier to let you answer for me :).

They're not Texan, by any means - no one down here talks like that
Xenalyte, I don't know about that!
People up in this neck of the woods talk pretty funny sometimes. And Rather has to get those sayings somewhere!
Example: My wife and our neighbor were talking (you know, gossiping) about a mutual acquaintance. The neighbor told my wife "You know you've got to just love her, because she is so damn hard to like."
