I'd be interested to hear what exactly has gone into the 'investigation'
Just yesterday two days ago they were "talking about exhuming" the bodies to do some forensics work, try to determine exit wounds and caliber bullet used if it was bullet wounds.
That seems like pretty BASIC info to any investigation... and if that wasn't done I wonder what was.

Deference to the military cuts both ways. Lots of folks are willing to be deferential to the soldiers (as I am), but not so willing to be deferential to the military nvestigators (who are members of the armed forces, too).
Let it play out, that's the fairest thing.

that has been buried is a NO-NO to the mohammadans.

There is an article in today's Chicago Tribune that featured one of the marines relieved of his command after Haditha. The real story on this fellow is that he was relieved for loss of confidence in his leadership and he was told that it had to do with some of his marines complaining to a British embed about something or other that had nothing to do with the issues in Haditha.
And he said that there was nothing unusual that went on that day as far as he knew. Nobody heard anything in the military grapevine about an unusual occurrence in Haditha.

1. According to several reports, the bodies have not been exhumed, and the Iraqis are unlikely to cooperate in such an effort.
2. The only "examination" was done by a local doctor with iffy credentials, and many ties to terrorist groups. He's written articles filled with hatred of the West in general, and the US in particular.
3. The only witnesses are likewise connected to terrorists (as are most of Haditha), and if you note the different interviews, the stories change a lot from interview to interview.
THIS is what the media, the 'Rats, and some even on FR, are willing to run with in the mad dash to convict these Marines.

That seems like pretty BASIC info to any investigation... and if that wasn't done I wonder what was. The relatives of the deceased aren't allowing such "desecration".
You'd think they'd be interested in finding out who really killed their relatives, wouldn't you?
