Wow, what a story. I hope this young lady makes the most of her life--and that her biological mother has repented of her horribly wicked act.

"It makes me feel like I'm here for a reason. I'm here to do something with my life,'' said Ashley, who will attend the University of Arizona in the fall on a scholarship. "I'm not here to sit around and cry and waste my time thinking about what happened to me.''

Wow ~The world's a better place with Ashley in it.

This story is an example of people who were close to being aborted who grew up to be a wonderful person. Many on the left would have argued to have her killed in the womb.

You can see the hand of God in this story. What a blessed child.

Thanks for posting the story, great start to my day!

One wonders if, late at night, this young lady can hear the whispering noise from the angel she surely has been watching over her.

Excellent story, and a happy one at that. However, it highlights what a pi$$-poor job the state of CA did in placing this child. The father seemed to really love her, but for the state to place this child into the described 'stormy relationship' was beyond the pale. There is no mention of the 'mother' whatsoever after the fathers death. Very strange.

What a gorgeous young woman. Thank God for the patrolman who found her and saved her life!

Oops meant to actually make a post.

Well, even reputable adoptions agencies can place babies in bad marriges.

I have personal experiance with this. It's kinda personal, I'd kinda not like to give out a lot of details.
