Sounds like a Turkey shoot, or Quail hunt...I would not want to be flying around in a set of wings with someone close with a 12gauge loaded with buckshot. I say move on to another idea.

Resembling a 6ft-wide pair of aircraft wings, the devices should allow a parachutist to glide up to 120miles, carrying 200lb of equipment, the manufacturers claim.*************
Wow. It is cool.

Cool idea, but I'm missing something in the article's math...
'moving 6 feet forward for every one foot he fell vertically' 'glide 120 miles or more' '30,000 ft'.
30K ft is about 6 miles. *6ft/1ft)*6mi = 36 miles. Much less than 120 miles mentioned in the article. Either they will be dropped from higher altitudes, take advantage of high winds, or something else?

Here is a video of jet boots in action that would work well with that flight suit. This fellow sustains 30 seconds of level flight at 2000 meters, jumping from a hot air balloon. It is taken late last year in Finland. He doesn't have nearly as aerodynamic an outfit to do it. Jet boots plus those wings should be quite a combination.
