Is he really the "Harman" in Harman/Kardon? More friends of the common folks, eh?;)

I saw Jane on Fox today. She's so stupid it's absolutely frightening! God Bless our military.

Indeed he is. From the Web.....

She is married to Dr. Sidney Harman, the cofounder of Harman Kardon electronics.

Where I live in the midwest breadbasket, there are so many lawyers now you can spray for them.

The dems are so distraught about the death of their hero, that they can't even come up with semi-intelligent talking points.

She was out of office for one term a while back after a failed Governor/Senate? bid. A GOP guy had the seat before she came back to win the seat again. The district is basically a coastal strip of white folks.

Harman called on President Bush to "start moving [U.S. troops] out of Iraq . . . We should have an over-the horizon force, no question." I'm not talking about cutting and running," the top House Democrat insisted moments later. "I'm talking about how do we win. We win politically, we don't win militarily."

Right. We won't cut and run, we'll just move all of our troops out of Iraq. Makes sense to me. After all, as long as we're just "over the horizon" we're really not that far away at least measured in Harmon Units.

And the Dims still can't figure out why the American people won't give them control of the military.

No kidding. I have heard this "over the horizon" crap from others. They have no concept of logistics. You just don't pick up and move a sizeable force at the drop of a hat.

When I was in CA at Space Division I lived and worked in her district. She always seemed pro military.I just don't like her anymore. Been in Maine for 10 years and now I have Snowe and Collins as my congressbabes.

Jane Harman represents one of the most liberal districts in liberal Los Angeles. It's been gerrymandered to make sure no Republican ever has a chance. The 'sort-of' good news is that she's not liberal enough for many activists in the district who are pushing the candidacy of a truly wild-eyed liberal. I disagree with Harman most of the time but it could be a whole lot worse IMO.

"Sure, my local police force has F-16s and 500 pound guided bombs. You ought to see what they use if you double park."

ROFLMAO!!

The libs, though more impotent today, are calling the same playbook out they did in Southeast Asia. Defeat is intrinsic to the dems thought process. I hope Bush can stand the strain. What a monumental victory for America and Iraq if the seeds of Republicanism sprout in Iraq. Now is the time to redouble our efforts there, not cut and run.

Makes sense doesn't it. Kill Zarqawi so now it's time to get rid of Rumsfeld.

Of course it makes sense. Liberals say they want to "speak truth to power." Rumsfeld speaks truth to reporters, an unforgivable tactic in their eyes.
