The Arab Mind (believe in this insane concept of martyrdom and violence)

Well, it did not take long for the case of the two MIAs to end: They were brutally tortured and then apparently beheaded by the new head of al-Qaida in Iraq.

Perhaps this is their (demented) view of payback for our killing al-Zarqawi two weeks ago. Whatever it is, it further illustrates the brutality of the militant Muslim enemy that we face across the world. And it needs to be made clear that while most Muslims do not behave this way - indeed the overwhelming majority do not - that majority for whatever reason also does not condemn it.

However, the Iraqi government - elected thanks to the courage and sacrifice of our soldiers and taxpayers - seems incapable or unwilling to crack down on these militants.

In fact, many of these murderers are actually members of the Iraqi Army by day, and then at night maraud as Muslim militia members sometimes even killing their own fellow Army troops!

Today's abduction and murder of one of Saddam's lawyers is a case in point: He was abducted from his house by Iraqis wearing police uniforms - and then hours later he was found shot to death and dumped on the street in the Shi'a part of Baghdad.

This is a daily occurrence in Iraq. These militants play both sides of the game - and can't be trusted.

Now, as to our ultimate game plan in Iraq:

I am really, really tired hearing this from the clueless... including my president, in view of the fact that this is as true now as it was on Sept 10, 2001... :

that majority for whatever reason also does not condemn it.
And certainly never show any inclination whatsoever to root out an kill the murderers among them. I can only conclude that they are quite satisfied with what is happening.

So Spare Me!

Why are people that believe everything that happens is the will of God, expected to condemn something that happens?

Why do muslims get all fired up when a crusader army invades a muslim country and kills a bunch of jihadis?

Isn't THAT the will of god (allah) too?

Wrong title...not Arab mind

It should be the Muslim mind. Christian Arabs denounce evil and violence unlike Arab or other ethnic Muslims.

When will the "moderate" followers of Mad Moe report the first extremist? Approaching 5 years and still waiting for the Islamo victim class to get off their butts and stand up for America.

Just needed repeated.

And at the same time I'll note that I've heard some Palestinian Christians
sound like they were buddies with Arafat. I guess they thought he
was a better devil than the alternatives (Hamas, etc.)

Funny how death and destruction seems to happen wherever Muslims gather...

Sadly, I have come to the belief that the only good muslim is a dead muslim.

Because God expects us to condemn evil and take action against it.

Did you read this article ?, I was beaten to the post, man it's worth reading a few times.

Geneva and Savagery
Al Qaeda’s reminder to the Supreme Court.

http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=M2YwODMzZjhjOWJlNDhiNDNjZGEwZGM4Zjk5MWZmODk

So, al Qaeda has done what al Qaeda does. It tortured and murdered our two soldiers. Pfc. Kristian Menchaca and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker never had a chance once they fell into the jihadists’ savage hands.
Meanwhile, some time in the next few days, the Supreme Court will decide the most important case of its term, Hamdan v. Rumsfeld. Salim Ahmed Hamdan, the personal driver and confidant of Osama bin Laden, claims his “rights” would be infringed if he is subjected to a military commission of the type President Bush authorized in late 2001 — the type that has from a time out of memory been imposed on those who violate the laws of war. Hamdan demands, instead, a court martial, with all the elevated protections afforded to our own forces by our own military — if not a full-blown civilian trial, before a federal judge, with all the protections afforded by our Constitution to American citizens accused of crimes.

Of course, a Yemeni national captured in Afghanistan whose only connection to the United States is to wage war against her has no rights under our Constitution. The entitlements Hamdan insists he rates can only come from international law: specifically, the Third Geneva Convention of 1949, relative to the treatment of prisoners of war.

Except there’s a problem … actually several problems. Al Qaeda, being an atrocious international terrorist network rather than a nation, is not a “high contracting party” to the Convention. It has no general or presumed claim on the treaty’s protections.

This does not necessarily mean it could never claim Geneva rights. But it does mean those rights must be earned. Geneva’s Golden Rule is earned reciprocity. Article 2 of the Convention makes it very clear: a non-party may earn the privileges and immunities of the treaty if it “accepts and applies the provisions thereof.”

So exactly how are Islamic terrorists faring on Geneva’s “Do unto others” scorecard?

Yes you are right...some put their "faith" in Marxist-Muslim meld as a way to undermine the Muslim tendency toward exterminating Christians.

But you know as well as I do, there are dhimmified Christians everywhere...more so among those who have been psychologically harmed by surviving as Christians for 1300 years.

Beats me, I guess people from different cultures, think and act differently about moral issues, while being invaded is a physical act requiring self-defense of one's property and life.

You'll have to ask God why He made everyone so different.

Ditto!

I, too am patiently waiting for a solitary voice anywhere in the Muslim World to condemn even a single act of violence or cruelty perpetrated in the name of Allah. If there are Muslim moderates appalled by acts of savagery committed in the name of their faith and God, let them speak.

"And it needs to be made clear that while most Muslims do not behave this way "

They all read the same koran and follow the same pedophile "prophets" murderous ways. So while "most" muslims do not act this way, they all have the potential to. There is no need to add that PC BS line.

What about when a natural disaster such as an earthquake or tsunami hits an Islamic country? We never hear about that being Allah's will.
