Because there are just so many Democrats that people just won't vote for?

Hillary consistently polls 40% or greater negatives, people who would never vote for her under any circumstances.

To win she would need more than 80% of the remaining voters, an absolute impossiblity.

I am praying that the Democrats are arrogant and stupid enough to nominate her.

Inspite of the fact that this is CNN and involves Hiltery, it gives me hope that this country has had enough of the Clinton mob.

If there had been only 2 people running, Bubba would still be in Arkansas.

Yeah but that's a lot different that 47% saying they "would never vote for" him.

As I've said on two different threads today, there is not a national poll that shows Hillary standing a snowball's chance in hell of ever getting elected president. She even gets trounced by "an un-named Republican".

If enough people vote "No" can we have her deported to Pakistan? (It would be neat to revive the old Athenian custom.)

Because there were 3 main candidates who split the vote in 92' and 96'.

Not gonna happen unless she joins the cut and run crowd. She might but she's so invested now. The Republicans would just have to roll out the flip-flop ads again.

43% or thereabouts voted for her husband. Since many in this number remain mentally and functionally challenged, she nets positives for them.
There must be gnashing of teeth in the clinton, carville and begala camp. Sure am glad about that.

Fellow Freepers... don't be lulled to sleep by these numbers...

The poll asked the question to the "American Public"... not likely voters, not registered voters, it was not even limited to American citizens. 40% of the population of voting age did not vote in the last election, so a good portion of the folks who "Won't ever vote for Hillary", won't vote for ANYBODY.

My biggest concern about the 2008 election is that there will be an interesting Third Party candidate on the ballot, the GOP nominates a "Center-Right" candidate who doesn't meet 100% of the strict ideals of Conservatives, the Conservatives stay home or vote Third Party, and the day after election day in 2008, we'll all be sitting at home scratching our head and wonder "How in the hell did Hillary just get elected?"

The MSM put this poll out there so that the GOP will get complacent... and Hillary becomes "The Comeback Kid II".

Eliminate the people who won't vote for her under any curcumstances and then ask those who would who do you like the best.

If me and 3 guys are polled and 2 of us say we won't ever vote for Hillary, no matter what, eliminate us, out of the 2 who say they would, if given choices, and one like hill more and the other like warner or whatever, Hill now scores a 50%.

Make no mistake, Hillary has never been liked, The daily Kos is one of the biggest anti-hillary websites on the web, you'll find more freepers who think she is electable then you will find libs over there.

Weird, but true, more freepers think she could win the presidency then daily kos members do.

Don't worry, I know the Clinton's are capable of anything when it comes to reaching for power. But at least for the time being, "the bitch isn't back!"

You realize, that Hillary automatically draws a left wing 3rd party candidate by default.

The daily kos and DU crowd would explode without one.....and money draws candidates.

Ross Perot pulled it off twice, and John McKeating will try, but it ain't gonna happen again.

Trust me.

She missed her chance in '04. Could have swept in last-minute at the convention (very few weeks before the election) as the party's savior, used her popularity capital, and ridden the MSM-driven wave of unquestioned rabid enthusiasm into office.

Now both sides have had time (8 years) to think about her in detail. Will be interesting to see how she handles the reality of "too late", as her life goal was the Oval Office.
