Good afternoon.
I believe that act of senseless destruction alone should be enough to doom those swine to the compost heap of history.

If the cross has to leave that site, if at all possible it should be done while keeping it vertical, and transported that way to another site. Then a sign should be placed at the site telling the whole sordid story.

That sounds like a plan. I live in LA, but I'd make the trip.

Put the judges under the cross as they drop it. The cross should not be dropped. However citizens or the city may need to seriously consider the time honored American tradition of running corrupt officials out of town on a rail be they local or be they federal ones.

*They should sell the mountain to a private organization.
Like a church.*
Tens and tens of millions of dollars wouldn't begin to touch that property.
It is in the La Jolla area overlooking the ocean, & the bay. The homes around it are in the mega million $ range each.

The just put up a placard that says:
"A monument once stood here to salute the brave men and women who defended this country. They defeated our enemies abroad, but were defeated by enemies from within. They died in vain."

The City of San Diego needs to tell the 9th Circus Court that the City is in a state of noncompliance and, in a civil manner, tell the court where they can place their decision. I don't think Mayor Sanders and the City Attorney have the guts to do that, even though they would have the support of 80% of the voters. Sanders is supposed to be on Roger Hedgecocks radio show this afternoon to talk about the cross.

unbelievableNo, FRiend, it is VERY believable. VERY predictable.
The country has slid into apostasy, so more and more of this will happen. And worse.

I wonder which house is occupied by the people behind this atrocity?

Yes, you are right, of course. I was just day dreaming. That seems to be the only thing we can do sometimes.

As I suggested earlier today on similar post, why can't W just proclaim (in an Executive Order) that this land is now fedral property?
Case closed.

The Ninth Circuit is the most Democratic Circuit Court in the nation. 67% (16 out of 24) of its active judges were appointed by a Democratic President. The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit are the only other Democratic majority courts, each with 54% Democratic appointees.
