It is about time that our success in dealing with this situation be told to the American public, not in a bellicose manner as is so often made by the liberal media exercise in neuro linguistic programing, no more, in a clear concise manner the facts need to be laid out. It is sad that we see the "Breaking News" today as the revelation regarding the S.W.I.F.T. system to counter the declassification of the found WMD. This article reveals in an unvarnished manner the facts, That WE ARE WINNING, that our strength, courage and commitment are winning the day. Let us hope that we will show the same Strength when defending our freedoms here at home not letting the media, any religious faction (Muslim or Christan), Government decide in the name of any cause to take away our freedoms our rights.

Talk to boots on the ground and they'll tell you how much has been accomplished in such a short time. They all say it's amazing...and that the people of Iraq are changing in such a positive way. ;o)

I'd say Welcome to FR if my neuro linguistic programming allows it.

The tipping point as far as I'm concerned occured on day one we went into Iraq. There was no doubt in my mind where it would lead and that we would not fail. All it really took was the will to do what had to be done, THAT was the tipping point in the war on terror, to do what had to be done to win.

The world will see an expeditionary force of a larger, quarter-million strong Arab army the most professional, U.S.-trained, army in the region war against the underground IED and suicide vest. This operation will be large, heavy-handed, and righteously devastating.
Here's wishing them good hunting.

"Tipping point". A REAL tipping point would be the realization among the vast majority of Muslims that the "Islamic" jihadists are NOT representatives of divine guidance. Every day, they erode their own base of moral rectitude, as much by the destruction of fellow Muslims as by their unrelenting display of total hostility to any other belief system in the world. It is almost as if any compromise with opponents with whom they are in conflict, will surely result in their personal demise.
The path of the True Believer is a troubled one at times.

"We can pack up and leave and look for another land, just like it has happened in so many lands of jihad. Our enemy is growing stronger day after day and its intelligence information increases. By God, this is suffocation!"Sounds a little like Murtha, doesn't it? But it's actually Zarqari to Osama before Zarqari was eliminated.

Ditto that in the European theater in the aftermath of D-Day, some eleven months before the fall of the Third Reich: turning points Not even close - Stalingrad was the tipping point for the Germans in WWII

But there is something else in the air - not a wave of euphoria, for violence will still surely continue, but a realization that this is no longer just an American war. With the Iraqi cabinet formed and the defense, interior, and national security ministries filled - we now have names and faces we can rightly associate with when speaking of joint U.S.-Iraqi counterterrorism efforts. I so agree and have said similar things on here in recent days.
But I'll go a step further and say that we can see things going in a different direction as well. The terrorist network is staring to come apart. They're on the run more and more lately.
It's been violent in Baghdad over the last couple of weeks because U.S. and Iraqi troops are on the offensive now and are determined to clean it up. And they're having quite a lot of success. But the current violence is nothing like it used to be during ramped-up phases.
It's definitely different around here over the last month or so. The country is really starting to accelerate forward and I have no doubt that this is going to work.
Sooner rather than later.

Midways was our "hump" in WW2. It was not a tipping point. The tipping point of WW2, when the Axis began to loose, was December 7, 1941.
The key thing to remember is that we can still lose.

Good luck over there. It's nice to get some inside info without the damn MSM filter.
