Yes the Lord does work in mysterious ways, although why would the Lord bring an election miracle to a person who thinks his petty adversity(i.e not being able to raise campaign funds) is on par with those who suffer through real and adversity, such as a victim of violent crime, and seems to think that satan is more powerful than the Lord.

The story is that Jacob paid them as employees. It's more serious than Tancredo's contractor hiring illegals to redo his basement, but not very serious in my opinion. The main problem with Jacob is that he wouldn't stand for anything and on the one issue that he should have stood for something (illegals), he expressed a similar (and probably more irresponsible) idea than Cannon's:

For those in Utah, 3rd Congressional District who have not decided here is a reminder. This is from a person who lives in a state that has been destroyed by illegal immigration. Cannon wants you, the taxpayer, to pay for the illegal immigrants and their dependents who come to this country.Illegal immigrants are destroying your childrens future by taking resources that would pay for quality education and health care. Look at California and see the damage illegal immigrants has done to my state. You do not want your beautiful state to end up like California.
