Excellent... now all we need is for the Iranians to get called on (what with their big new security pact) to step over the line and overtly make some stupid decisions.

I have been in the Dead Sea Valley when several jets (below my position) would break the sound barrier--the sonic boom literally knocked me off my feet....I hope Assad was on the toilet when it happened!

I only have one complaint about the picture above - it's an F18. The IAF flys F16/F15's. ;-) but a boom is a boom no mater what the cause ;-)

With an F-15, you really don't need an F-18. Until the F-22 came on the scene, the F-15 was the premier superiority fighter.

Yeah, the F-15 was the best until the F-22. Hey, whatever will make noise and make the Syrian ferret and his terrorist pals mess in their drawers is fine with me.

sorry, didnt see an IAF sonic boom picture when i looked... just use your imagination that the sonic ring has a six point star edged on its circumference.
