A group of 50 pro-Israel Christian tourists came under attack Wednesday from some 100 residents of the ultra-Orthodox neighborhood of Mea She'arim in Jerusalem. Three of the tourists and a police officer were wounded in the attack. They received treatment at the scene. The tourists arrived at Mea She'arim wearing orange T-shirts with the words "Love your neighbor as yourself" printed across them. As they neared one of the squares, the local residents apparently identified them as Christians and began to hit them. Police forces in the area stepped in to stop the violence, but did not make any arrests. Police say they are waiting for the tourists to file official complaints.

It is immoral to commit acts of violence against a fellow human being except as a last resort in defense of self, others, or nation. Attacking someone because of a slogan printed on a T-shirt -- no matter how offensive that slogan might be -- is therefore immoral.
If I had any idea what you were trying to say I might reply to it. Again, just a suggestion.
Of course, if the police acted on the scene, the object of the complaints could be apprehended. By waiting until someone complains, the police response will be, "Who did it?" The answer to which will be, "Some Jew guy."

Back in the early 80's I knew some bicycle racers going to the Soviet Union for the Goodwill Games. I got them a bunch of Harley shirts from a place called Satan Cycle (no kidding) with Eagles on them that said "Don't Mess with the US!" for trading. They came back with about half the Soviet teams uniforms and gear....

Christians want to evangelize, proselytize, whatever you want to call it... its part of the belief structure
it is part of our (JEWISH) law not to be converted, even by force including dying not to leave the Torah given by G-d to the Jews. like it or not, when the two collide, things heat up. in the past, when Jews werent in charge this often meant destruction of the Jewish community whose members refused to convert. i guess most folks arent used to seeing the shoe on the other foot...
