There is no reason why we can't kick their butts and return to the status quo.
They just need their butts kicked from time to time. The boot is being applied as we speak.

One of the major problems with that today is political correctness, If we kill off enough of them to drive them back into obscurity for the next thousand years, the PC folks will have a conniption fit.
