Somehow I doubt he's making these comments in reference to the New York Times revealing a number of classified programs that were tracking terrorists.
No one has yet to explain why Clarke was fired by Secretary of State Baker and was picked up by Scowcroft and placed in the NSC. The guy is a loser. Utterly.
i hope we're safer - i know we aren't safe enough. we all know that. what i do know is that certain people are at least trying hard to make us safe, and certain people are doing everything to place any and all obstacles in their way. the latter group never has any constructive ideas, but always deals in the vocal, the splashy and the destructive. i don't appreciate that when our country is vulnerable. and i will be voting on that basis in November.
