Well...........naive when it comes to trusting people I thought I could trust, I guess.

I've never had his accusations turned on me in this fashion.............and all of them based on positions I don't hold, and things I've never said. All completely unfounded and untrue.

I've met this man. I really thought he was honorable.

Well this is the deal. There was a real breakup in kookdum a few months back the racist and radical council of Conservative Citizens kept talking about how this neo conservative firm was behind all this. This led to the their "inforamal assocaition with Simcox" Well they are into conspiracy theories so I checked it out. It appears that simcox and others are very connected. Well the other kookdum sites were talking about it. You know the globislist under my bed types and its all the joos folks. Well in my research this firm Diener Consulting keeps coming up. in fact heir finger prints are all over this. They are linked to Strategic Internet Campaign Management which has the famous sheldon guy and of course is connected to william Greene. I am researching it now but there is alot of connections

Simcox is accountable to the IRS and the FEC.

His attackers have shown nothing that proves that the man is remiss in that responsibility.

yeah and there are more connections that are strange too. I suspect that if Simcox had to return the money he couldn't it has probally gone to these assorted groups for fundraising direct mail,and other great things they do-you know like send out breathless internet updates everytime a illegal alien gets a parking ticket. My personal favorite was illegal alien rapes puppy. It is pretty interesting and disturbing

I know you as sincere and honest, and we've never met face to face.

The Simcox lackeys on the one hand, to their credit, are sincere in their fight to protect this nation, all of us on this forum are. That's the fundamental agreement we've all come to. On the other hand, they can't stand their "leader" when red flags go up, and questions even from Minutemen (a group of which I'm not a due-paying member of) themselves, begin to be asked about where all this money raised is actually being spent on. The most glaring example is the 5-strand, 2.2 mile-long barbed wire fence, which was supposedly going to cost $300,000 per mile and members were told to, "donate generously", (Simcox wants $55 million more in donations), when in reality the fence itself is more like $8,000 per mile. When all along members were told they had been promised an "Israeli-style fence".

They're hypocrites in their attacks on the Bush administration. Their only problem, is they have nothing to show for it except needless ad hominems toward those who fundamentally disagree with them, and a clear case of unfounded evidence.

But it is not just the group's rivals who are skeptical of the fence plan. Even longtime supporter Richard Humphries of Courtland, one of the original Minutemen, sees some validity to Spencer's concerns.

"I know that if I had donated $100,000 to build a fence to fight illegal immigration and then found out that my money had been spent to build a five-strand, barbed-wire fence to keep cattle out, I'd be a little unhappy," he [Humphries] said.

I AM sincere and honest..........in private exactly what I say I am in public. I think that's why I drive the phonies and frauds aroudn here crazy. Honesty drives the dishonest insane. President Bush has proven that every day.

As for Simcox, it is irresponsible to not demand complete accountability from him, as one should from anyone collecting money from sincere people who want to help solve a very difficult problem.

The most curious thing for me is that there are clearly those here who don't care if he does or doesn't use the money properly. There haven't, to my knowledge, been any explanations given as to why Simcox wouldn't disclose his use of funds...........only attacks on those asking him to do so.

If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it.

Something is clearly not right. It shouldn't cost as much as has been alleged to build 2.2 miles of 5-strand barbed wire fence in 2 months, with that many people down there.

As I've said up thread, I've put up a mile of fence in a single day all by my lonesome. Repairing cuts in several miles of wire takes less time than that.
