I just received news that the body of the young man missing since 6/30 was found. I have no other details as of yet, but wanted to thank all of you for your prayers. His grandparents and brother will continue to need them. I am so hoping this was an accidental death.
This teen was missing for almost 2 weeks and yet nothing was put on the news because the sheriff's dept wouldn't OK it. They considered him a runaway. Even a runaway should be searched for. I am quite upset, as you can tell.
Thank you all again. It is a very sad day in this sleepy town. I know I will be hugging my son extra when he comes home from work. Hug yours too.

There was a poster of a missing young man posted in a park near my town in Michigan. Wonder if this was him.

I'm so sorry to read this. I've put his family into my prayers.
We had the same situation near me that turned out the same way, with the 16-yo girl's body found on Monday. She had been murdered and the suspects, other teens from her HS, were caught just tonight after crossing the border into Canada from Michigan. (We're in SE TX.) I am also praying for her -- and the family and friends of Ashton Glover.
My prayers are also for everyone on this thread and all those in need tonight. Mean people, too.
And especially for the wonderful horse, Barbaro, who could use all the prayers anyone could muster right now for an animal. If you don't believe in that, it's OK - I'm adding extras.

It just is so sad that there is such evil in the world. The parents(and grandparents) should not be burying these youngsters. No one should have to go thru that.
The police are just now interviewing Jeff's friends. I am so angry. There was an article in the local paper that has got many of us livid! I hate that our children & Jeff's family are going thru this.
The kids here are making a memorial for him, signs, a teddy bear etc. We as parents are supporting them in whatever way they choose to grieve.
We will be interested to know more facts as they turn up.
