HOUSTON The day after drowning her five children in a bathtub, Andrea Yates told a jail psychiatrist that she had decided to do it the night before and that she knew it was wrong, a sheriff's deputy who overheard their interview testified Wednesday.
"She said, 'I considered using a knife, but that would be too bloody. I considered using a gun, but that would be too noisy. I decided that drowning would be the safest way to take them into the next world,' " Deputy Michael Stephens told jurors in Yates' second capital murder trial...
He said she killed Noah last because she knew that he would struggle the most and could have alerted the others.
WHAT AN EVIL, SANE WOMAN.
Ferguson also told jurors earlier that she doesn't think she asked Yates whether she knew that killing her children was wrong. But Stephens said Yates was answering Ferguson's question when she said she knew what she did was wrong.
SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on the SHRINK.
Amazing that they got this in and didn't claim "Dr. Client" privilege.
Perhaps it was allowed in because the SHRINK wanted him there because she was afraid Ms. Yates would hurt her. Thus the shink breached her dr. client privilege.
That's just beyond disgusting. Fry her.
