So you and the other posters are stirring the pot so he has to pay for a whole firm full, just to give answers about finances he legally does not have to answer.
Thanks a lot.
I hope you are just as inquisitive of other political volunteer organizations, including all the ones you personally approve of.
I hope they let you keep the gloves on for the proctological examination.

I think the WT may have been on this for awhile:
"A financial statement promised to The Times by Mr. Simcox for May was never delivered. "
To: Amelia
"The Washington Times should read the FEC filings for Keyes' Declaration Alliance PAC. They will discover that 95% of the funds collected went for fundraising, and only 5% for the stated purpose of the PAC."
I didn't know that.

Of course, in another FOUR MONTHS, Simcox's hand-picked accountant will deliver his $50,000 audit. Are audits usually that expensive? I am almost positive that our county government doesn't pay that much.

Looks like he's already collected $1.6 mil, and collecting more every day, so 50k is peanuts.
To: Amelia
He'll need a really good auditor.

So, go figure.

I didn't know that. Go here and here.
Catholicfreeper found the data & linked the FEC report, and I summed it up. I suggested that others check my math, and no one corrected me, so....
This post also had some information to back up my post above, again based on some information catholicfreeper uncovered.

Well, I don't think anyone has ever accused the Washington TIMES of being a left-wing propaganda rag before, but I guess some people will now...

Actually I agree with the quotes in the article by Gary Cole and Mike Gaddy. It's a very important movement, and it needs to be open and accountable with what it's doing with the money.
It's a shame that Simcox seems to be ruining it. It's not Simcox's money, and he needs to let the donors, the volunteers, and the public know what he's doing with it.

Well, this will sure bring out the amnesty-at-all-costs crowd and open borderbots.

I guess you cant wait until November to ream him, eh? I can't understand why they want to wait until after the election to make their finances public.
What's behind that?

It would go through a Virginia based charity for the benefits toward a charity in that state.
There should be records though at least regarding donations from credit card and checks.
If there seems to be almost no cash reported from envelopes in the mail, them I would begin to think there was some dipping MAYBE.

Anyone have those pics of Keyes with the black ten-gallon hat on the southern border?
