Paul Craig Roberts seriously jumped the shark a couple of weeks ago with a scurrilous article attacking Israel.

I consider myself pretty much a paleo-con but do not agree with non-interventionism when our butt is on the line.

I admire Pat Buchanon always have and always will. However, I disagree strongly with Pat's opinion on this issue. He has been far more of an isolationist than most of the conswervatives I have known.

The U.S. has supported Israel for a long time. Therefore, the Islamofacists see us as an enemy and part of this war whether we like it or not. There is nothing we can do to change that reality but to fight and win.

Prior to the establishment of the Zionist state of Israel there was great debate in the international Jewish community as to whether a "Jewish state" was truly desirable.
For the most the larger debate ended after WWII. All that was debated was how best to have a Jewish state.

1. The "Palestinian" Arabs are not Philistines.
2. 3/4 of the "Palestine" was set aside for the Arabs in 1922. This became known as the Hashemite Kingdom of TransJordan. All Jews in this area were foced to leave. After it siezed the West Bank and much of Jerusalem, the country was renamed JORDAN.
