"We've had Hezbollah agents that came across the border with Mexico," Jerome Corsi, co-author of "Minutemen: The Battle to Secure America's Borders", told Sean Hannity during an appearance Wednesday night on Fox News Hannity & Colmes.
Appearing with co-author and Minuteman co-founder Jim Gilchrist, Corsi agreed with Hannity that border security is important for national security because Hezbollah terrorists could be coming across the border with weapons of mass destruction.
This IS Bush's fault. CLOSE THE BORDER NOW BUSH!
Also on this subject....
The one thing the terror masters are not, is stupid. When they see an easy access point they're going to take it regardless of it being our northern or southern border. Fortunately we get some cooperation from Canada. The mexican officials are for sale.
Close the Border!
Don't shoot the messenger.
Since when did Globalism trump security of this nation? I have yet to figure the rationale. Insanity reigns!
As much respect as I have for W, his willingness to allow the border to remain in a grossly unprotected state after 9-11 completely boggles the mind. So much so, that I have losed a fair amount of respect for the man and even hold him in contempt for dereliction of the duty he accepted when he placed his hand on the bible and took an OATH to PROTECT THIS COUNTRY against all enemies foreign and domestic.
G. Bush, J.McCain, L.Graham, et al
Sigh...when the bombs go off right here in river city, what will they say??...how are they going to put a happy face on that???
It's spooky isn't it.
It's also not just here, last week clinton was over in africa urging U.S. Citizens, to dilute their loyalties by applying for dual citizenship. He wants them to become citizens of the countries they believe their ancestors came from or HERE"S the KICKER....apply for citizenship of the african union, continent wide citizenship. Sound Familiar?
The agenda is to divide and dilute the loyalties of American citizens. It's not just a physical war were in, it's one of ideaology and beliefs, it is for our way of life.
Just coming to do Jihad that American's won't do.
And stop giving student visas to men named "Mohammad."
Bullshiite! He is wide-eyed and bushy-taled, spinning his way to our country's impending demise! He is leading the effort to make us poor ole' 'mericans irrelevant!
The agenda is to create a global Uber-state with the select elite at the top and everyone else supporting them. No individual rights or property (except for the choosen of course). The Anti-Western Civilization.
That's a no brainer. It's also how Al-Qada and every other terror organization is getting into the US.
We HAVE to secure that damn thing.
FDR was a great leader during WWII but his policies brought about the Cold War. Reagan ended the Cold War but erred in pulling marines out of Lebanon. The border is Bush's blindspot and I'm afraid (to put it mildly) that it will haunt us for generations.
You're right. But don't feed the troll.
Urban Renewal?
All they need is one shoulder fired missile to instill panic ala 9/11.
BUMP
The coordinated downing of dozens of airliners.
Still a real concern of mine.
Would you please explain to us all what Corsi's "agenda" might be?
"Guess we can add Corsi to the list of kooks who is praying for a terrorist attack on the United States in order to further his agenda."
Your agenda is mighty suspect too.
Why do you assume impure motives for people that are volunteering their time trying to help enforce laws that the US government refuses to do?
I've read many of your posts and simply do not understand your antagonistic attitude towards people that want our border laws enforced.
You making big bucks as a Coyote, or do you hire a bunch of illegals?
I don't like the smell of YOUR agenda, pal.
You have just nailed it. I've been seeing this "ruling class" since the Kennedys reigned in the 60s and thought then, "Wow, we have our own royalty!". All my folks are deep south people, none of us geehawed to the Kennedy mantras, saw the king building going on...
One of the most destructive "cells" within that group was the "Rat Pack" and their connections to crime lords. The only thing is, they were their own worst enemy and basically destroyed themselves before they could destroy our country.
these are not the illegal immigrants you are looking FOR
HA!
your jedi mind tricks have no effect on mE!
Ayeyup.
lol
It's all in the plan....... just appears as insanity.
;-)
;-)
Those who put their head in the sand (or dark parts of their anatomy), leave their A** exposed. Nothing wrong with "Watchin your 6". Understand?
Congratulations. You have written the single most stupid thing I have ever read on Free Republic.
As you can see from this graph, all the test subjects who read your sentence had an immediate and long term reduction in intelligence:
"Corsi agreed with Hannity that border security is important for national security because Hezbollah terrorists COULD be coming across the border with weapons of mass destruction."
Before I comment let me say YES WE DO HAVE HOLES IN OUR BORDER THAT STILL NEED CLOSING AND THE PRIORITY ON CAPITAL HILL AND AT THE WHITE HOUSE IS NOT HIGH ENOUGH. That being said, I believe there is way to much sensationalizing the holes in the Mexico border stories.
For example the headline reads, Hezbollah Invading U.S. from Mexico, but when you read the interview the co-author says if we dont secure the border it COULD happen. They said the same thing about Al-Qaida but Hezbollah is the scary terrorist of the moment.
Newsmax is famous for very misleading titles to their articles. It is one of their MAJOR faults!
During WWII, a lost, disoriented and hungry blond, blue-eyed young man in a long wool coat (wool! in S. Texas!) and carrying a boxy radio came to my grandparents' door (near the Border in S. Texas) asking for food in PERFECT (too perfect) Spanish and offering to pay with a thick wad of cash (nobody had that kind of cash in those days).
He got a "taquito" handed to him, no charge, and was sent on his way. Some little boys tailed him and came back that night telling my grandpa that the man was in a burned out shack, had built a fire, and was "talking funny" into the radio.
My grandpa and some of the men in the area "went out for the night" and came back about dawn, refusing to ever speak of what transpired.
save
"Bush is gone to sleep on securing our southern border."
He's not asleep. He's very aware of what's going on but he's already made the deal and can't back out. That's just my opinion of course.
Israel/Middle East/Global Jihad/US Border Security PING !
Shoot the bastards.
amen. all the faults of the clinton administration not going after terrorists is going to look like childsplay compared to what has probably come into the country under Bush's watch (weapons and people).
This is Art Bell material. < ---- That is the literal truth BTW.
EXPLODED: 22 myths about the War on Terror that Osama bin Laden hopes you'll believe
Disinformation
by Richard Miniter
http://216.7.14.139/products/BookPage.asp?prod_cd=c6833
Turn on the TV at any given moment, and you're likely to see some earnest media "expert" telling you confidently that America faces a serious threat from suitcase nukes, that Al-Qaeda terrorists are streaming across the Mexican border, that there was no link between Al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, and that Iraq is another Vietnam. There's just one problem with all this: none of it is true. Richard Miniter explains why these and other popular media factoids and urban legends are not only wrong, but severely damaging to our war effort, in Disinformation: The 22 Media Myths That Undermine the War on Terror.
There are a lot of War on Terror myths masquerading as fact in respected newspapers, on the airwaves, and on the web. Some are cunningly disguised; others are as crude and silly as the ideas that a small band of neocons have made a puppet of the president, and that the collapse of the Twin Towers was an inside job. Many of these myths will surprise you. Miniter, the indefatigable investigative reporter and terrorism expert who has penned two New York Times bestsellers (Losing bin Laden and Shadow War), smashes these myths as he draws on seldom-seen documents, contacts with countless high-level sources, and unique information he has gathered in his travels from Sudan to the Philippines, from Saudi Arabia to Hong Kong, and from Washington to Brussels. He shows not only why you should not believe these myths, but how they play into the hands of the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 - and divert valuable personnel and resources to chasing cold tips down blind alleys.
Richard Miniter reveals:

Borders out of control? How, as unlikely as it sounds, there are actually no known cases of Al Qaeda terrorists sneaking across the Mexican border
(snip)
Miniter marshals the evidence -- all the evidence -- that shoots down this dangerous disinformation and refutes the legions of shallow media talking heads who mindlessly repeat it. If you want the real truth about the war on terror and what we must do in order to win it, Disinformation is the indispensable starting point.
"Richard Miniter deploys the weapons of humor and fair-mindedness, and the hard-won experience of many tight corners of the globe, to dispel the fog of half-truth and propaganda that has been generated by pseudo-intellectuals and by the surreptitious sympathisers of the most vicious and reactionary movement of our time." -- Christopher Hitchens
"Richard Miniter is one of the most enterprising, best-traveled reporters covering the war on terror." --James Taranto, The Wall Street Journal
STOP IT! You're ruining a perfectly fine bash Bush thread for everyone.
Their just coming here to pick vegetable. Aren't they?
