U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, speaking after the Israeli bombing of the Lebanese village of Qana, said it was time for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hizbollah guerrillas.
She said she was saddened by the bombing and confirmed that she had canceled a planned trip to Beirut, but would stay in Israel to try to work out a deal for ending the 19-day-old conflict.
Time for Rice to go! She looked the fool this morning. Said she wasnt going to Lebanon because of bombing. Lebanon told her not come.

The dynamic has changed. Once Rice and Bush began promoting a negotiated cease fire they then had to use whatever they could to bring the parties to the table including piling on with world media, Europe, et al re civilian casualties. Israel should play the righteous indignation game, drop the pretense of civility and go after every target south of the Litani without mercy. Show the world that you too can be crazy and unreasonable and the world will begin siding with you...its worked for the Arabs.
Rice, Tony Snow, and Bolton have all repeatedly said they want a cease fire as soon as possible.....as long as it does not return us to status quo........
I am just suspicous of the way the media is reporting this....

That appears to be the topic of interest for all the media including cable talkingheads.It will be spinned the way they can to make it sound bad BUT the quote are her exact words.

Islam is at war with the west.
It always has been, but was quiescent in most of the 20th century due to the overwhelming military might of western powers and Japan.
Once again the menace which haunted the nightmares of our ancestors from its initial outbreak in the 600's through its expansion into the Holy Land and Mediterrean World in the 700s and 800's, to its assaults on Byzantium and invasion of the Balkans right up to the Barbary wars, has risen from the grave.
These people who are so outraged at the deaths of their own civlians from Israeli defense moves care not a whit for the numbers of dead Israelis, and rejoiced at American dead on 9-11.
Like the Communists, these people have their own vocabulary. "Civilians" applies to Muslims who have not elected to committ suicide to murder non-Muslims. It doesn't apply to non-Islamic individuals regardless of occcupation.
"Peace" means freedom from effective counterattack so they can hatch their murderous plots with impugnity.
Who are these savages kidding? They saw off the heads of captive non-Muslim civilians, they blow up Jewish cities, they attempt to kill civilians here, they use horrifyingly bellicose rhetoric in referring to the west, they come here and into Europe and expect us to honor THEIR customs and religion while killing people who so much as wear a cross or Star of David in THEIR countries.
Our leaders - here in the U.S. have GOT to get tough with these savages. If Hezbollah stills exists, Syria and Iran win.
If Syria and Iran win, we will be fighting these murderous beasts not in Iraq or Lebanon, but in New York, London and Paris.
Each and evey single Muslim should be expelled from every western country, their mosques and madrassehs closed and the state of war which exists between them and us, recognized for what it is.
I can't believe see say such a thing....since, the building fall like 8 hours after IDF bombing. I think it'll be proven by the Israelis' themselves the terrorist either blew the building up or all the explosives hidden inside did it.
