Mike DeWine is behind a mite? That's within the margin of error, is it not?

DeWine should have been beaten in the primaries, but it's almost impossible to get incumbent RINOs out of office (and they know it). Still, I'd rather have a Republican majority, including RINOs, than a Democrat one.

While DeWine's record is gray and mediocre, Sherrod Brown is a darling of The Moonbat Left. Enough said on that.

If Democrats sweep Ohio this year, we'll have Bob Taft to thank for it.

"That's within the margin of error, is it not?"

Yes, very much so.

DeWine will win because Southwest Ohio will come through for him.

Brown might win Cleveland, Columbus and Dayton, but he won't win outside of 5 counties within the state at most. Yes that includes those dirty hippies down in Athens :)

People who publish these things need to call it a dead heat. There is no lead here.

yep

and I'm not 100% sold that he will win Columbus either.

Columbus IS a pretty moderate town, neither conservative nor hardcore liberal (yet) like Cleveland and Athens and Dayton are.

Why is that ? Maybe it is because RINOS make sense to the majority of primary voters ?

Frankly, I would like to see the RINO lose. I am tired of these liberal Republicans infiltrating the party and pretending to be Republicans. Until the party is purified, it will cease to be powerful for conservative causes.

"DeWine will win because Southwest Ohio will come through for him"

Probably true, but in most other years, but not true this year.

Dewine has ticked off many people here over things such as abortion, 2nd Amendment rights, the "Gang of 14", etc. etc.

I will be voting for the Democrat, and many (R)'s I know are either going to be doing the same, or not voting for either.

Brown won't win Montgomery County. We were a draw for Bush in 2004, and he ran ahead of Bush. This is a DeWine win.

Dayton is lib, but all the surrounding burbs, esp. Centerville and Beavercreek, are heavily GOP. Greene is slightly GOP; Warren overwhelmingly GOP.

Reminds me of the classic South Park episode...........

An election for School Mascot was held.........

The two candidates were

1. A giant douche

and

2. A turd sandwich

On the face of it, the answer is yes. A RINO could not win the primary without getting the majority of the votes. However, notice I said "incumbent RINOs," not just RINOs. Incumbents of all types are almost impossible to get out of office for many reasons.

The Dems are busy purifying their party. Do you think it will win them a lot of elections? A Republican majority including RINOs is better than a Democrat majority. We are only one justice away from a conservative SCOTUS. Would you throw this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity away???
