The Song class are decent...but not super. The Kilos are dangerous and they will ultimatley have 12 of them, purchased from the Russians. The Yuan class appear to be a technological advance and indiginous Chinese update to the Kilo so they will also be very dangerous in the litoral waters.

The Type 093 boats may well be already launched (I believe they are) and they are thought to be the quivalent of the Russian Victor IIIs, which is a huge inprovement over the current Han class. Roughly equivalent to our initial LA class boats perhaps.

Here is a pic of what some think is both of the new type 93s:

The Type 94 SSBN is new and will be dangerous simply because of the JL-2 missiles it carries. It will give them the ability to hit large portions of the US from their own coastal waters, or even from their ports, inlets, and harbors...making it difficult for our own subs to interdict them before a launch.

We forget that only God has the power/wisdom/full knowledge to run everything. Nations that refuse to turn to Him, have been taken down. Nations that repent and turn to Him, have been shown mercy. Sometimes nations have been spared only by a few righteous people interceding for it. Sometimes a few aren't what God wants, and the eight of them were put on a boat while all nations were destroyed due to the evil.

It is China's leadership which is evil, not necessarily the people, IF there is the massive Christianization we hope for, where they could then be our allies. But we had hoped that for Russia, too. God, however, does not need a majority in China or Russia to love America before He can protect us and bless us.

He can destroy a city just by having people march around it 7 times, so even IF our weapons aren't up to snuff, He can still allow us to 1) Be protected and 2) the enemy be destroyed, when we call upon Him and trust Him!

My facts are correct and if the chicoms make more steel, it does not negate the facts that I quoted.

I hate the chicoms, and I always have. I believe that one day we will have to kill millions of them. I have NO problem with that (because that is what you do to enemies of AMERICA), but I don't think that they could EVER compete with our economy.

The Soviets tried, and they have OIL... and they still lost! China has massive needs, and that is their weakness!

When the Korean War started, the United States did not have diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China. On the Security Council, China was represented by Taiwan.

At that time, communist ideology in China was very hot, and it was a matter of principle to support North Korea. Since Deng Xiaoping, China has become communist in name only.

Sir, do you realize that our economy grew upward of 1.3T in the passed 36 Months for which it is equal to the entire Chinese GDP?
And do you really want me to believe that the Chinese will be conquering us? Under what circumstances and scenarios if you would detail?

Donning the tinfoil hat awaiting response....

I don't think China and the U.S. will have any armed confrontation

I believe that the same was said about Japan not attacking the U.S. in the '30s. Those that said that even gave their reasons why they believed that.

Then came December 7, 1941....

"Since August 5, 2006".

Welcome to Free Republic.

Your Freeper Home Page remark that "I do not think that hate is a family value" is humorous.

Only liberals find family values hateful.

Do you like kitties?

Cheers!

your selective quotes in 72 are out of context.

the full extent of this guy's home page indicates he is a non litmus test conservative which means "traitor" to some, but not to most.

he calls himself a centrist which means he is not a troll who like to masquerade. there is no deception here.

Why does China think we will attack them??

I guess they figure that we will be upset, once they actually do nuke L.A., instead of just threatening to do so. Not to mention all the other dirty tricks they have been playing on us around the world.

In order to decide for sure, I would have had to dig into his "in forum" comments, rather than the hasty check of the Home Page alone.

Combining "strict separation of Church and State" together with "hate is not a family value" (both of which are tripwire statements / code phrases among certain classes of libs) were enough to arouse my suspicions...

As it is, I didn't *call* him a troll, I merely fired a warning shot across his bow.

"Do you like kitties" could refer to my screen name, too; look at the photo at the top of my Freeper Page.

Cheers!

Not really. When our economy grew in two years by MORE than the entire amount of value of the entire chicom economy; that is not competition.

Brit Hume and Rush Limbaugh are my sources.

My facts are correct

I never doubted your facts...just their relevance to the hazard being discussed...war.

and if the chicoms make more steel, it does not negate the facts that I quoted.

But the facts of such things as steel and other critical war commodities, impacts on your conclusion.

We must beware over-confidence...especially overconfidence preached by outright agents of the Chi-Comms such as Ronald Montaperto. This is a Turtle and Hair situation. We have a big lead, and we have been supremely overconfident and are not just stagnant...in many particulars we continue to go backwards...while they make steady steady progress. And the turtle has hired agents hanging out with the Hair, telling him not to pay any attention to that "loser" the Turtle. Take a nap. Go on a vacation. Nothing to see here...move along.

The Chi-Comms are patient...and they think they can play to what they perceive as our weakness...our own conflicted self-interested factions which drastically weaken our unity and hence strength when it is required...and our military overconfidence. A military supremacy being squandered in spendthrift fashion.

Ditto right back at you. Who said they "will be conquering us." But what you clearly fail to grasp... is that they are planning to do so and may likely try. They are clearly following the master plans they themselves announced. This is what the liberals never ever comprehend. They discounted Hitler too. Nor the psuedo conservatives who believe in our military press clippings too much.

Today's Liberals NEVER see a threat looming by foreign nations. Ever. So pardon my doubts when someone claims to be conservative...but then mouths the liberal's talking points...bragging on our superiority.

A true conservative would follow and practice the teachings of Hermann Kahn. You look at capabilities and dynamic vectors of change of the potential enemies. Then plan accordingly. Thinking through every unthinkable scenario.

Anyways... I don't need to convince you. You have been warned by the Chi-Comms themselves in their version of Mein Kampf...

China's Military Planners Took Credit for 9/11

Soon after the horrific attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, two high-ranking Chinese military planners took credit for the 9/11 attacks and were even hailed as national heroes in China.

In fact, three years before 9/11, the Chinese colonels had proposed the attacks and cited Osama bin Laden by name in their book "Unrestricted Warfare."

The authors of "Unrestricted Warfare" are Senior Cols. Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui, and in 1999 they wrote that an attack by bin Laden on the World Trade Center would be just the type of "unrestricted warfare" that could bring down America.

The book was published by China's People's Liberation Army and had the endorsement of the Chinese government.

"Unrestricted Warfare" makes clear its purpose: offering China and other "weak" countries a strategy to destroy the U.S. without a full-scale invasion, using unusual or "asymmetrical" warfare.

You have also been warned by Chinese Dissident Harry Wu.

You have been warned by the late Admiral Thomas Moorer.

You have been warned by the late General Singlaub.

And you have even been warned by the late Caspar Weinberger to rebuild...to beware over-stretch and be prepared for the very worst calamity to keep it deterred...and the rebuilding and prudence hasn't happened. We are skating on thin ice...with no idea when it will crack.

If you think their prognostications require you to wear tin-foil... You are simply ineducable. So why try?
