Seems to be a good plan.........since they want to get back to the dark ages, it seems a waste to have them study in a civilized country.
I was just thinking after reading Aug 22 and Iran...were they sent by Iran before Aug 22?
Why do I get the feeling these guys are going to be allowed to stay and proceed to Montana to complete their English course? After all, they are not related to any terrorist groups, right, so they're good kids and boys will be boys. We are stupid like that. They should be deported and banned from ever returning.

There's normally a thirty-two day window when it comes to reporting no-shows. The university in Montana, God bless them, jumped the gun. These guys couldn't have known that would happen. I hope the Feds keep these guys on ice for a while.

Hey sassy, perhaps the 11 missing Egyptians were sent to do something suspicious like this so that the FBI and law enforcement agencies would rally their sources to find these men. These "students" are being searched for across the nation and information is also being sought from foreign sources which also takes time and manpower.
Or perhaps they might have been testing how well our homeland security really is; maybe they want to know how long they be able to do what they did (disappear) and get by without being detected. They've been missing for what, a week? If that was the plan, they are probably feeling pretty good about that.
Also, the fact that they are missing (as possible decoys, so to speak), BOLO might pull some FBI agents, and other enforcement, away from other investigations that may be ongoing long enough for a backup team of "students" to start initiating some detailed, planned "event", so to speak.
Of course there may be some absolutely incredible explanation for their disappearance and it's all innocent. heh heh
Since all of the MSM reporting of our electronic intel capabilities, they might be the low tech solution to communications, 'runners'.

Well then by your thinking not only are all unaccounted for visitors "decoys" but we can never know for sure. I still have know idea why or what could be learned from this, just go ahead and send the real guys.
Hardly. Not all unaccounted visitors are equal, so to speak. We're talking about a specific situation with 11 Egyptian students that were all supposed to be headed to the exact same college for a foreign exchange student program that was to last for 32 days. And ALL 11 decided to split up and just not show up. No contact with the college, no responses from the e-mails sent to them by the college...nothing, nada. No money transactions for their last minute trip alterations, no e-mail contact with friends or family, they simply just disappear from JFK and miss their connecting flight. How could this situation NOT cause some concern? If the FBI, Homeland Security and Immigration department had NOT responded with a level of concern, they would be failing miserably at their jobs.
