The next time you get around to Vegas, stay at the Belaggio. They have a buffet that has rare delicacies besides regular food. Eat the expensive stuff first. Caviar, deer, even pickled octopus was tasty. Just try everything you never ate before and is rare. That stuff is as expensive as a night's stay in the place. Pig out nicely. I want to go back.

Squid's not slimy. If yours was slimy, it had spoiled. Calamari is excellent, and small fried whole squids are even better.

If you're ever in Annapolis, MD, be sure to try the calamari at the Ram's Head Tavern. Man, that stuff is good. Best I've ever had.
