The hotly contested SB 1437 was approved by the California State Assembly this afternoon. As amended, this measure states that No teacher shall give instruction nor shall a school district sponsor any activity that reflects adversely upon persons because of their race or ethnicity, gender, disability, nationality, sexual orientation, or religion…

Christians should sue because their religious beliefs are being mocked by the pro-homosexual/pro-sin liberals. Of course the CA courts will quickly toss it but it's worth a shot.

Only positive images, huh? Can you imagine treating ANY OTHER historical figure in this way? I guess then that Sheila Kuehl et al then will move on to other aspects of history that may only be presented in a positive light, such as Southerners, the United States Army as it related to Indians, religious groups, robber barons, etc.

That this little clause is stuck in there should scream volumes to the average joe about the real intent on 'educating' about gays.

IMHO, this is a clear First Amendment violation on its face. I have read previous versions of this bill, but not the final.
