On Friday, Sept. 8, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will host a dinner for former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami at the Marriott Crystal Gateway in Arlington, Va. The theme of his address at the CAIR dinner will be "The Dialogue of Civilizations: Five Years After 9/11." Khatami will be in Washington, D.C., to take part in an event at the National Cathedral.

And during his presidency over 100 newspapers were shut down, dozens of journalists were jailed, students were beaten and thrown out their dorm room windows for speaking against the regime, bloggers were arrested, girls were hanged, women were stoned to death, children were beaten for attending co-ed birthday parties, etc, etc, etc,.

This is absolutely nuts...a terrorist nation with whom we have no diplomatic relations and are in a not so hidden war with. Hosted by a group that speaks up only when they feel imposed upon, the former official of this terrorist nation will enjoy our protection while he promotes our destruction. This is like Goering speaking here in early 1941.
CAIR should be designated as a terrorist organization.
