I know the text of "The Speech" has been posted numerous times. This source has a link to a video of this great speech in 1964. There is also a .mp3 audio file if you only want to listen to this historic speech.
You must go to the source -- American Rhetoric -- to view the video or listen to the audio.

Look at the very top of the page for the video and audio links.
The very bottom of the page has a link the Top 100 American Speeches -- Online Speech Bank

I've had a VHS tape of "The Speech" since 1992. This is one of the greatest speeches of the twentieth century.

I neglected to mention the very small font link at the bottom of the text of "The Speech". The following link is to C-SPAN

"Give up your dreams of freedom because to save our own skins, we're willing to make a deal with your slave masters." Alexander Hamilton said, "A nation which can prefer disgrace to danger is prepared for a master, and deserves one." Now let's set the record straight. There's no argument over the choice between peace and war, but there's only one guaranteed way you can have peace -- and you can have it in the next second -- surrender."
Truer words never spoken, we need to heed them now more than ever.. and they are words you will never hear from a Democrat or Liberals lips.

And most of what he said back then is true today.
We need another Reagan, but a person like him comes along too few times... rarely if in one's lifetime.

Wow! another great line:
We have so many people who can't see a fat man standing beside a thin one without coming to the conclusion the fat man got that way by taking advantage of the thin one.

we could use a man like Ronald Reagan again. "The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so."

Agree. This ranks capably alongside nearly anything Churchill had to say: tho' much less succinct. What a privilege to have lived during times of two such great men -- and great orators, both!
