Peculiar thing how people can get so disgusted by Christian comments, but no one cares about the fact that Islam dictates that we can not profile for national security, cannot show cartoons that offensive to that particular religion, can call for the eradication of the state of Israel, etc. Yes, gays can force their "lifestyle" upon society, education books and curriculum and laws without disgusting our media and legislators. I pretty much agree with Harris on this one.

(And the sad thing is that many of the so called Republican-Conservatives will criticize her even though they are spouting liberal-media driven hate speech (just LIKE The DEMOCRATS! DO). It's a shame that they learned nothing from Reagan that "thou shalt not break the 11th Commandment".. Also that these "republicans" are being driven manipulated by the media to hate Christian-Conservative-Reaganites just as Satan (Hillary) would (Right-Wing conspiracy)...
I for one would much rather have Katherine Harris on my side (one of the sweetest-most gentile southern kind Politicians you will ever meet), than the far liberal-media driven croud that sides with hillary, Kerry, Dean, and McCain!!
Harris is right, but her candidness may well cost her the election.
Well, let's see. The 2002 Senate race in Minnesota was between mayor Norm Coleman (Jew) and former Vice President Walter Mondale (Christian, and the son of a Methodist minister to boot).
I was rooting for Coleman to win. Which side were you on?
Luckily, she is self-destructing. Now, if one could keep the collateral damage to the absolute minimum...

We don't have religious tests for candidates in this country. Ours is a secular government, and has worked for over 230 years precisely because of that.

Whoever said that Coleman and the Congressman weren't-aren't Reaganites..? Of Course They are, but they also expose much of the same views that Harris does: A belief in the Biblical God, and they attempt to have their political carreers follow their faith too (I would bet)!
It's they leftists whom want to take God out of Government that is the REAL enemy not other Republicans (no matter how much we dissagree with them..)!

So I doubt very much that she would exclude electing Jews that abhear to a JUDEO-Christian world view, anymore than you or I, the same goes for Catholic-Reaganites!!! Which would you rather have Katherine Harris on your side or so called Republicans like McCain, Graham, Lugar, etc...? The people of Minnesota and Virgina certainly elected Reaganites in that election, but they DIDN'T elect "Christians", so by Harris' standards they're "in essence going to legislate sin"
If you agree with Harris' comments, then you were rooting for Mondale over Coleman.
