Iran president challenges authority of U.N. Security Council, wants to debate Bush (Breaking)

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) _ President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday challenged the authority of the U.N. Security Council as Iran faces a deadline to halt its uranium enrichment and he called for a televised debate with President Bush on world issues.

The Security Council has given Iran until Thursday to suspend enrichment, a process that can produce either fuel for a reactor or material for weapons.

``The U.S. and Britain are the source of many tensions,'' Ahmadinejad said at a news conference. ``At the Security Council, where they have to protect security, they enjoy the veto right. If anybody confronts them, there is no place to take complaints to.''

But Iran has refused any immediate suspension, calling the deadline illegal. AP-ES-08-29-06 0825EDT

But first he needs to get his stool!

I didn't realize he suffered from a Napoleon complex.

"And these two control major oil producing countries."

We get zero oil from Iran and we import 14% of our oil from Chavez, that 14% equals about 80% of his out put.

Who has the oil problem?

Notice that the media takes this clown seriously. The headline might just as well read: "Jackass Wants to Debate President of the United States". (Or "Kerry" Wants to Debate POTUS" :) ) We should start bombing Iran's nuclear development sites right away (with conventional weapons), and keep bombing them until they are pulverized. We should also bomb their oil wells, then watch Iran's economy melt down. The UN is a total joke, but Iran is using it to buy time.

It's a pi22ing contest between him and chavez to see who can come out with the most outrageous comments for the press. And these two control major oil producing countries.

We need to stop putting money in the coffers of our enemies.

More proof that Ahm A Nutjob is . . . . . . well, a nutjob. What's the point of him debating Bush, other than to give this whack job more publicity than he already gets and legitimizing him? Since Ahm A Nutjob isn't running against Bush for any political position, a debate is meaningless. He needs to slither back under his rock.

In the FIRST place: IF President Bush even took this seriously, he wouldn't debate this jerk, he would make mince meat out of him....

And SECOND place: WHERE does this Iranian jerk off think he can speak and anyone listens??????

Napoleon complex.

In the fields of psychology and psychoanalysis, Napoleon complex (or Napoleon syndrome) is a colloquial term used to describe a type of inferiority complex suffered by people who are short. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives.

That's right, we need alternative fuel. We should have been doing that for the past 30 years. Instead, we continue to fill the coffers of our enemies and look where it has gotten us.
