This is a bit old, but I couldn't find any related posts. This looks like some additional claims to preserved Dinosaur "soft tissue".

It's kind of a badly-written article. While soft tissues are mentioned, it appears that this fossil is completely fossilized. What is rare is that soft tissues were also fossilized, which allows them to be studied. In most fossils, all soft tissues decompose before fossilization.

Having the entire animal fossilized will allow study of the structure of all that soft tissue, a rare thing in fossils. It doesn't mean that the soft tissue has not been mineralized (converted to stone).

The evidence goes a long way to justify what many paleontologists are having a hard time believing — that Leonardo is as well preserved as Murphy says it is and how, after millions of years, that is even possible

Why does the article say that X-rays only damages living
tissue???
It damages tissue period. I.e. messes up DNA, proteins, etc..
In living tissue, the normal function is disrupted, so
the damage is apparent to us. In dead tissue, you gotta
do chemical analysis to see the damage.
I suppose they will have to eventually unearth the thing, to use
things like electron microscopes.
Interesting find...especially is there is still soft tissue.

OK. So maybe our pal used them to pull on branches or something, to bring leaves into reach. Sounds logical enough, right? Apparently not....

They keep finding animals and dinosaurs that they say are "millions" of years old that still have "soft tissue".? This to me would seem to indicate that these animals and reptiles are not as old as these so-called scientists indicate. In the book of Job in the Bible, Job goes out and looks at 2 dinosaurs (Behemouth and Leviathan) and thinks about them. This book is considered to be about 4000 years old. Besides, I have proof that Dinosaurs still exist!
