In view of President Bush’s statement, we feel compelled to ask again a question we raised about 10 days ago: “Where is Karen Hughes?”

Nasrallah has started to get his own bad press. My best guess on Karen Hughes is that she determined in fairly short order a campaign to expose Muslims to who and what Americans are was a lost cause, at least in the way they initially dedided to go about it.
I suspect you'll be finding out real soon.

IrishMike: Thanks. This got the response I expected from FReepers. We can love the president and still throw a penalty flag once in a while I would hope? Free speech is not all free in the blogosphere....we Americans have polarized into "camps" that don't discuss: except with people of like minds. We need to open the windows an inch or two....maybe. It would not hurt to point out that Williams is a bit of a moron as well, for notbeing able to carry this question to its logical conclusion.
No, you're not wrong. The window does need openned an inch or two. But there are some who are afraid of the fresh air and the sunlight it may let in.
You are paying attention to the wrong things. Stop and consider the actions of what are now called moderate Arab governments and Pakistan in the last month and you will see that their has been a huge change since 9/11. Bush has been able to get most governments in the world to see that terrorism affects them all and there is wide agreement and cooperation.
As you said, "the President's trusted agent" and she is known around the world as such. Her word is his word. So perhaps it is a "stealth mission" and her job description is cover. Who knows anything for certain? Neither you nor I.
