(Did he get re-elected this year because they actually thought he was better for the job than Mitch Landrieu, or was it because they thought he hadn't suffered enough? I'm starting to lean toward the latter.)

As expected, no mention whatsoever of the two Democrats, Kathleen Blanco and Ralph Nagin, who deservedly should shoulder the majority of the blame for the tragedy. As always, it's President Bush's fault. If reality does not fit your agenda, just alter it.

One year later, half of the city's hospitals remain closed and less than half of the New Orleans public schools plan to reopen this fall.If half the residents haven't returned, what's the problem here?
