Draw your own conclusions from the fact that Armitage’s best friend Colin Powell called Dick Cheney’s supporters (including Scooter Libby, Doug Feith and Paul Wolfowitz) the “Gestapo Office” (quite insulting considering that there is a history of relatives lost in the Holocaust among them).
Factor in that Powell called Doug Feith “a card-carrying member of the Likud Party” and referred to the Likudnicks in the White House controlling policy during his “exit interview with Bush” (see Assassin’s Gate: America in Iraq) – thereby showing his support for anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists.

This is disheartening to say the least....IMO he was Presidental material, but not now...this is a shame....

I don't know what may or may not have transpired between Grossman and Wilson or Grossman and Armitage over the years, but it is increasingly hard to believe that there have not been serious discussions of these matters among them. Grossman was #3 in the State Dept. under #2 Armitage and #1 Colin Powell. Some unnamed person(s), according to Joe Wilson, urged him to publish his NY Times op-ed, and I suspect strongly that was Grossman and/or Armitage. Grossman and Joe Wilson were both Class of 1972 at UC Santa Barbara and went into State Dept. careers which turned out to have some interesting overlaps in geographical proximity (leading up to Gulf War I, Grossman was #2 in the US Embassy in Turkey while Wilson was #2 in US embassy in neighboring Iraq). It may be conceivable in some alternate universe that 2 people from the same college graduating class working in the State Dept. in nearly parallel careers could be posted in Iraq and Turkey at the same time and not know each other well, but I seriously doubt it. Even if they did not have the college connection and/or never met during or after college (possible but unlikely), when they were posted in Ankara and Baghdad it seems extremely likely they would have had meetings at some point. Your concern is well founded, however Dicky the toe sucker thinks she is the second coming., the only chance we have to beat Hillary.
Powel was/is an Aribist and so is Condi.
Any republican, or Democrat for that matter that runs on a get tough anti amnesty platform will win in a walk.
Of course the party elites will gives us two dumbo choices and I guess we will have to live with them until the people get a collective spine.
