Bust in Slay of Rudy Aide
New York Post ^ | August 31, 2006 | Philip Messing with Brian Hammacher

A chance encounter....helped cops nab a homeless drug addict now charged with killing an aide to former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani after a gay-sex romp...... Detectives were at a Manhattan employment agency looking for records on the suspect, Edwin Ramos, 26, when Ramos - who hadn't worked there in about a month - showed up.....to collect back pay.

Ramos, a drifter with a long history of drug arrests, made a call using a cellphone that belonged to Martin Barreto, 49, who had worked in the City Hall press office during the Giuliani administration.

Barreto's nude body was found Aug. 21 in the bedroom of the Greenwich Village apartment he shared with a cousin......the suspect stole Barreto's phone, computer, keys and some clothes - then sold the phone and laptop to buy drugs.

Cops said Ramos made statements implicating himself in the murder. "He said he met the guy while walking on the street.....They engaged in a conversation and then he was invited up." The body of the gay exec was discovered in his bed with lubricant and a condom next to him, officials said.

Rudy's a riot when he dresses up like the class nerd---and follows conservatives around, taking notes... He's gotta learn how to be a conservative----f-a-s-t.

Trouble arises, as it often does with mountebanks, when they forget, or are distracted away from, the script.

Why bring up such a disgusting idea. Want to discuss slavery too?

When some Gays are adamant about some special political benefits they deserve the same type of rejection and castigation as when other groups demand special undeserved political action.

It is you and your fellows who seem obsessed with what Gays do behind close doors. If homosexual behavior is deviant, so is your hatred of them.

To almost all Americans Gay issues are not relevant issues except when idiot politically active Gays and idiot politically active professional Gay Bashers make it an issue.

If some Gay man having sex in Manhattan is an issue in your life, if you don't feel some sympathy for this unfortunate man getting murdered, there is something wrong with you.

If Jefferson said so, lets start castrating Gays.

You're a loon.

Let 'em rant. They don't mean a hill of beans. As the polls show. :)

Why can't you answer a simple queastion?
Yes or no, was Thomas Jefferson, (and Washington, Madison et al for that matter as they agreed with the law), a "loon"?

I grew up to no longer care what people do behind closed doors.

Most of us don't care or even want to know what people do behind closed doors (when there isn't a murder involved, that is).

The fact that it continues to become a point of discussion in the public policy arena is not attributable to anyone but the homosexuals. They continue to insist that we care what they do behind closed doors.

Believe me, if they would drop the subject, so would we.

Shalom.

They were men of their times who believed in ideas that today we find repugnant including slavery.

Do you consider yourself a man of the 18th Century?

Do you want to have a personal hand in doing the castrations. Maybe keep trophies...."not that there is anything wrong with that" (at least maybe in the 18th Century).

FreeRepublic is so strange. I all of a sudden find myself defending Gays.

But then I have this passion. I also hate. I really hate crazies of all stripes.

It is you and your fellows who seem obsessed with what Gays do behind close doors. If homosexual behavior is deviant, so is your hatred of them.

Since deviant means deviating from the accepted norm, then your statement is not necessarily true.

In fact, I believe everyone is born with a conscience that will react negatively to homosexuality.

That said, the negative attitude toward homosexuality should not spill over into violence toward the homosexual.

if you don't feel some sympathy for this unfortunate man getting murdered, there is something wrong with you.

Spot on. However, as with the young woman who accused the Duke Lacrosse team of rape, there are certain behaviors that are not only immoral, they are dangerously so. In her case, it was going into a houseful of strangers and taking her clothes off (OK - so she lied about the rape, the risk was still there). In his case it was selecting a complete stranger for a little afternoon delight.

Oh, and he could have been a she and it would have been just as bad an idea.

Shalom.

...and yes, I think sodomites should be castrated. And so you don't fly off the handle and refer to me as a "homophobe" I'd want the same punishment for heteros who sexually abuse children.

I'm presuming you're intentionally misrepresenting jla's argument because you can't answer it?

Sorry....gay sex romp with a homeless drug addict?

Not too many of my friends do that. It's not normal. Flame away gay supporters, but that kind of behavior is nuts.

Are you now claiming to be too stupid to understand my answer.

Proof of an ever present combination when hatred is manifested- there is always also stupidity.
