Working to kill America
Pittsburgh TRIBUNE-REVIEW ^ | September 1, 2006 | Dimitri Vassilaros

For the morbidly curious, please go online -- www.spp.gov -- to see the end of America. The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, "a trilateral effort to increase security and enhance prosperity among the United States, Canada and Mexico through greater cooperation and information sharing," was launched March 2005 -- in Texas.

The premise of the near-treason is that the SPP hopes to unite this republic, Mexico and Canada in a near-suicide pact; that the security and prosperity of the gang of three are mutually dependent and complementary; and that the SPP supposedly will reflect the "shared belief" in freedom, economic opportunity and strong democratic values and institutions.

I'm not up to snuff on LOTR. What does the ring do and say?

the ability to legally resettle the SW

How do you "resettle" an area you have never previously inhabited?

Thanks (everyone), but I meant to say that I didn't know how to shrink it.

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

I have no idea what the ring says. I haven't read the Tolkien series since I was in college a hundred years ago, and I didn't go see the movie series.

I does make the wearer incredibly powerful.

You use length and width specifiers, for example:

<IMG SRC="http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ops/images/bush_ring-of-power.jpg" LEN="400" WIDTH="308">

Since this image is 800 by 616, the specifiers will render it at a quarter of its original size (1/2 x 1/2), like so:

Just give it a different size dimension.

< img src="http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ops/images/bush_ring-of-power.jpg" width=400 height=308 >

But then you can't see the writing so well.

Whoops! Looks like I made it 308 by 237. I'm a baaaaaaaaad boy! Let's try this out.

I checked the properties, and it is now 400 by 308, so use:

<IMG SRC="http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ops/images/bush_ring-of-power.jpg" WIDTH="400" HEIGHT="308"> (1/2 by 1/2 reduction)

I suppose I need a mandatory trip to the HTML sandbox. :-(

So basically I check 'Properties' for the size, and halve the numbers if I wish to halve the image?

I watched some of the movies but, I mostly remember Tolkin from some Led Zepplin song.

Agree! The shadows of the ring finger don't match.

Either that, or run it through some photo editing program where you can reduce the size. You can then save it to any number of free photo hosting sites like imageshack or photobucket and link it from there.

Canada is roughly the size of California in population. This should be split up to avoid creating another California.

Mexico is 108 million people. If you made mid-size states out of it, there would be 20 or 30 states. This would be trouble in the Senate if the Mexicans stay with the Dems.

That's it, if you wish to render it a quarter of its size. To make it 1/2 its size, you'd need to divide the numbers you find in properties by the square root of 2.
