LATE EDITION (CNN) : Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn.; Iraqi deputy prime minister Barham Salih; Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Iranian representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency; Teamsters president James Hoffa and Labor Secretary Elaine Chao; former Clinton adviser Lanny Davis and former Bush campaign strategist Matthew Dowd.
They weren't "wrong." They got caught. Numerous people right here at FR with none of the connections these people have had this figured out from the beginning. The DBM absolutely KNEW Wilson was a liar and this was a manufactured "scandal." What they did they did with knowledge and intent.

Matthews will spend one minute on the day of the attacks and the rest of the show on Iraq.

Absolutely, and just look at what the guys on the other side are willing to do to get that power. It automatically disqualifies them.

Even worse, it was Corn who promoted the conspiracy theory in the beginning. Commentary about the new revelations incude the observation that Armitage's role does not fit neatly into the conspiracy charges.
This is like the quality award given to the individuals who moved heaven and earth to fix a problem which they created themselves.

Powell & Armitage were the [media's] heroes during President's 1st term
Colin Powell has lawyered up. I think that the worst of it is that Powell was supposed to be a friend of W and withheld information. Some friend.
He has hurt Scooter Libby, the Vice President and the President for no apparent reason other than to cover for Armitage. Gosh, in the dreaded private sector, you let your boss know about things that may/will/did go wrong and to do what you have to do to clean up the mess and prevent it from recurring. Instead, it looks like the act of someone who had an axe to grind.
Spot on comment -- you are absolutely correct. They were/are complicit. Free press? Not in this country, you have a press that is in bed with the DNC, to hell with truth and fact. They make me puke.

They knew a along. Do you think this explains why the President agreed so readily to a special prosecutor, thinking he'd let them put their money where their mouths where?
The DNC-DBM is a powerful force, still. Let's keep chipping away at their credibility!

So is Joe Gibbs supposed to be the real Republican on the show, or just the conservative? I didn't know Mr. Gibbs expressed political opinions.
