Bin Laden on Video With 9/11 Hijackers

CAIRO, Egypt — Al-Jazeera aired on Thursday what it called previously unshown footage of Al Qaeda terrorist chief Usama bin Laden meeting with some of the Sept. 11 hijackers.

The station did not say how it obtained the video, which was produced by As-Sahab, Al Qaeda's media branch.

The video showed bin Laden sitting with his former lieutenant Mohammed Atef and Ramzi Binalshibh, another suspected planner of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Bin Laden is seen wearing a dark robe and white head gear, walking in a mountainous area, smiling and hugging men the tape claimed were several of the Sept. 11 hijackers.

Atef, also known as Abu Hafs al-Masri, was killed by a U.S. airstrike in Afghanistan in 2001. Binalshibh was captured four years ago in Pakistan and is in U.S. custody. President Bush announced Wednesday the administration's plan to put him and other captured terrorist suspects on trial.

Senior U.S. intelligence officials said they are not surprised to see Al Qaeda release a video like this just days before the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks

the same subject was to post them on the existing thread.
JR used to jack posters up by the short hairs

Well, we know from bin Laden's pronouncements that he wants reactionary forces to prevail in America. They WANT the U.S. to militarily strike out at anything muslim, so that they can continue to recruit for the jihad. The timing is not surprising at all. Bin Laden openly supports Bush and the RW. It's not even close to a secret

Also looking to the right in "breaking news" showed the other thread.
Don't get me wrong please. I'd rather see a story posted a couple times than to miss it completely.
Also I'm not the site owner, nor am I a mod so my opinion has no more value than yours.
I just have a headache so was being a grump butt.
