I am sorry you feel that way.... I hope that you understand that by NOT voting for the Republican you are in essence giving ONE vote to the Democrat and by doing so you give voice to the FAR LEFT in our country.... TRUST me the FAR LEFT understands this and that is why they are happy with a Moderate DEM, because they view this as a vote AGAINST conservatives..

As far as I'm concerned, Kean the Less is the Far Left--and worse, he's a Republican. I'm not giving a vote to a Democrat. I'm revusing to vote for a liberal.

Think about it this way... a NO VOTE is x-1 a vote FOR a candidate is x+1..... a difference of TWO... in other words a NO vote is ONE vote for the other guy.. and a vote FOR the "R" is ONE vote against the other guy... it is simply math...

David, I love ya, but there's no way I'm voting for Kean the Less. Having him in office hurts conservatives at least as much as having Menendez in there.

I would disagree with you, and would argue that a CONSERVATIVE DEM is worse than a LIBERAL REPUBLICAN.. in the NATIONAL big picture because it gives the DEMS the POWER of the numbers.. which is stonger than any single Senator... at the local level there are a LOT of conservative Dems, who think they can change the direction of their party by sticking it out.. while this may have been true 10 years ago.. in the modern world of politics it is ALL about the numbers.....

P.S. I am enjoying the tone of our discussion.... this is what FR is all about.. conservatives debating conservatives .... :)

Well then David, you sound like the guy I need to give me a motivational speech or a pep talk.

Yes I know, I should vote for the guy with the R next to his name and tell my family to do the same. OK, we should take one for the team here, so that we can maintain control of the Senate.

But I can't get myself to do it. I'm going to need a stiff drink before walking into the ballot box and pulling the lever for this clown. My current plan is to tell everyone to just name a write in candidate of their choice:

Big Bird, Lassie, Saddam Hussein, Jim McGreevey. Anybody.

Like I was telling a friend on another thread, this reminds me of that South Park episode where the PETA whackos decided that Cows could no longer be the school mascot. An election was held to choose a new name and the choices came down to "Giant Douche" or "Turd Sandwich".

I know I have to vote for "Giant Douche" but...

Help me out here.
