Note the childish expressions on the Clintons' faces. Typical.
Sadly, yes. Kennedys have no honor.

My recollection from 9/11...
I was working as an airline agent at O'Hare at the time, commuting to Chicago from Milwaukee several days a week. The TV was on in the breakroom. As reports of a plane hitting the towers came out we began to filter into the breakroom to watch. At first we thought a small private plane had hit and that perhaps the pilot had a heart attack, as the weather certainly could not have been a factor. When the second one hit, we all knew the world was changed forever. We realized that there was no one at the ticket counter since we were all glued to the TV. We then had to go out and explain to the customers what was going on. The rumor was going around that O'Hare was a target. When I waited on the ramp for the employee bus that day, O'Hare was so dead quiet you could hear the birds singing, normally you can hardly hear the person next to you talking. When flights resumed again days later, the noise was like music and the smell of jet fumes wonderful. I don't think I have ever driven my 82 mile commute so fast to get home as I did that day. To this day when I see a plane coming in low for a landing I still sometimes get flashbacks to the sight of that plane approaching the towers. As a 20 year airline employee, I will NEVER FORGET what those bastards did, and I will NEVER FORGIVE.

37% of us were willing to send him packing in his last election. Unfortunately, there will likely be only that same 37% this time.
Bookmarking your outstanding, wonderful thread. Thank you so much.
Excellent job!!!
I was downstairs on the treadmill watching a video movie. The phone kept ringing and ringing, and, disgusted, I finally ran upstairs and answered it. It was my wife. "Turn on the TV, turn on the TV she said." We had a little TV there on our counter, so I turned it on, on FOX, and there was smoke coming out of WTC #1. "A plane hit the World Trade Center," she said. "Big deal," I thought. A Piper Cub. So a pilot got lost. Then I saw the second plane hit and never had a worse feeling in my stomach. I knew that we were really, completely at war.
I could not watch the remainder of "This is an excellent but heart-wrenching video set with tragic irony to Ray Charles' tune "What a Wonderful World." Curious as to why someone would set that particular song (which is a favorite of mine) to those horrific scenes - it was almost obscene imo.
A big BUMP with thanks.
President Bush has faced more challenges than any other president in American History.
I think it is critical that we get out the vote in November to give him the legislative support he deserves and needs for the next two years.
We need his resolve & dedication in protecting our nation.
I truly believe that the future of our grandchildren depends on it.
Suggestion showing the contrast of good and evil
Why do I get the feeling that Bin Laden and his ilk are just biding thier time waiting until President Bush office and Rummy and Cindi and Cheney are gone to strike again.
I wished President Bush and his cabinet could stay longer.
Great thread!
Hi Jonny. I'm so glad you saw this thread.
Yes, I agree. It's one of my favorite moments as well.
I was just watching the Flight 93 memorial at Shanksville, PA. The President and First Lady take so much time greeting the family members. They are patient, gracious, and solicitous of how the folks are doing.
While watching, I was struck by what a truly remarkable man GWB is. He's not glib. He's not slick in the modern TV-age meaning of that word. He doesn't have the typical politician's poker face and emotional guard. What goes on inside is written all over his face and body language. But he is so real. So compelling. So genuinely great in the best, most towering sense of that word, I am awed that we have been so fortunate to have him during this critical time.
History, written as it is by mostly left-wing academics, may or may not be kind to him. But I think the Lord he so fervently believes in will one day say to our Dubya, "Well done, my good and faithful servant. Very well done."
Most assuredly, they do not -- and that goes for the unfortunately mythologized John F. Kennedy as well. He was a terrible man and a terrible president who happened to give a few speeches with memorable lines. Conservatives today stupidly lionize him because he lowered taxes and because they think he was good on national defense. He was exactly the opposite.
Whenever I hear someone say such a thing, I immediately know I'm dealing with a monumentally stupid idiot.
