The headline at Yahoo! reads "173 killed in Afghan suicide bombing." This would lead you to believe there was a suicide bomber who killed 173 people this morning. This is because educated people can distinguish between the singular and the plural forms of "bombing." Of course, the story reveals that 173 is the number of people killed in all suicide bombings (plural) this year.
The subltey and depth of media mendacity makes me want to beleive there's a "Moonbat Central' somewhere, daily issuing marching orders to the press!!!
It has been removed as of 7:11 CDT
Yahoo!, I've found, is another left wing cheerleader especially the way they word and arrange their "news" headlines. I see examples of this daily.
In WW II, we had Tokyo Rose. Now we have thousands of Tokyo Roses working in the press, only they are not as pro-american as the original.
7:17 CDT still there
Try again. It's there.
Call you local newspaper's editor when they do this kind of crap, it will cut into AP's ability to do that again.
If the AP drives themselves out of business with their bias, so be it.
..but used everyday by the MSM. A front page headline, gear for the passing commuter waiting for his (her) coffee in the AM. So who do they answer too? No one..so expect it, marvel at it....but always,always..expose it
Doogle
to confirm your belief, just listen for the pundits "keyword" of the day. Rush pointed this out last week...I think the word was "Jujitsu" several "talking heads" used it in their commentary, ya know, it's just one of those words you use every other day..LOL
Doogle
Of course the corrolary of this is that uneducated and ignorant people can't make that distinction.
There is nothing as dangerous as the combination of ignorance and outrage...
Imagine finding out exactly where that irginates from , daily!!!Would be hilarious.
Now mine says 173 this year. Originally they made it look like 173 TODAY. It is off the main Yahoo page on mine and in the "more news" section now. 7:47 CDT
Democratic leadership...of course
