Yes to everything you said. I used NLP to get over a trauma -- it works. I also see the father of lies at work surrounding the hate-America folks. But, yes, greater is He... those have been the first words on my home page since I've been at FR. Thanks for posting.
You are so right. People have shouted similar words to us out the car windows as they go by. Thanks for your post!
My ex was drafted for VN when we were 23 and newly married and hadn't a pot to p** in, much less the ability for a service wife to get a good-paying job anywhere in the south (although I did get some freelance). We were even turned down when I tried to buy tickets to the local symphony theater for his birthday because they said "We don't allow servicemen. Only E-5 and above." Can you believe that? We both had college degrees and my ex was in grad school when drafted.
It was all we could do to afford our off-base apartment, food, gasoline, phone, postage stamps and the laundromat. And those were the days before easy-care fabrics...
LOL! Here I thought he was already cracked...
:-D
No he was just stupid since birth.

Thanks to you out-of-state FReepers for your faithful readership and for your comments/bumps to this thread! Keep us in your thoughts tonight! Your love for the troops, interest and support from around the country mean so much....
God bless you for all you guys are doing for the troops.
BTTT
Routine tagline maintenance - time for a new one.
Can't come tonight, hosting sleep-overs for both girls.
Just had to say...I LOVE your tagline!
Bumping backatcha. ;o)
"People have shouted similar words to us out the car windows as they go by."
Really?
That is terrific!
Thanks for the bump? Thank YOU! Nothing, no news, nada.
Missed you and your family tonight. It was relatively quiet, after a torrential deluge - and the buses came back by 9:15, so I was home by 10:30. See you on the 23rd at the Rally at Sylvan Dell.
It was so great to have you come and FReep with us tonight and to meet you in person, Dinah Lord! What a treat! Come back any time you can!
IMO Bruce Wolf isn't fit to kiss the boots of our brave warriors. How dare he point his finger and order recovering patients away from his view!
There are quite a number of milblogs on the Internet (blogs by or about military personnel) and we have been visited by many milbloggers. I believe that is the other channel besides Free Republic that provides many enlisted troops a window onto what we're doing.
Also, last year the DC Chapter had a big rally to counter a large anti-war gathering of the world's misfits on the National Mall. It was broadcast on CSpan and FR was one of the primary sponsors, along with Moving America Forward and some other groups. There, we had a booth for people to make video messages to the troops.
And, many, many WR patients come out to the street t meet us when we are outside the gates. They email and phone back to the guys in their units. So, word gets around.
My nephew just got back to Ft. Campbell a while ago. My brother and his wife are duly grateful.
'There's no hope for a guy if he can look you right in the eye and lie to you.'
