Jews are the Dems second most loyal constituency after blacks. Nothing will change because they have nowhere else to go. It has less to do with religion and the state of Israel, and more to do with domestic social policy.

DailyKos is a hotbed of Jew-hating vitriol every single day.
The Dem leadership is certainly aware of this, and I see no move on their part to admonish their members, though we may see some token effort eventually.
What I conclude is that the DNC is going to cut Israel and any pro-Israel Jew loose--and that the DNC feels they can afford to do this. After all, Hugo Chavez really loves Noam Chomsky, so there's a lot of Israel-hating Jews on the left that will provide the necessary cover.
The question is, will the Jews still vote overwhelmingly Dem when they realize they're no longer wanted?
My bet is...yes.
The Democratic Party has been a congenial political home for many American Jews since the era of FDR. The party welcomed them into its ranks (along with many blacks and urban dwellers) and its programs comported well with many values Jews cherish.
Ironically, what many like to forget (or never knew) is that the white South was an integral part of the New Deal colation right along with everyone else. Furthermore, its loyalty to the Democratic party was much older than that of many other coalition members and continued to endure after FDR. Ultra-liberal Adlai Stevenson carried only states in the Deep South in his two presidential runs (1952 and 1956). I notice no liberals were saying "f---- the South" back then. Perhaps if white Southerners were to return to "voting right" then we'd be as exempt from criticism as are Black Fundamentalists.

The modern dem/liberal is yet another ironic example of projection. They frequently call conservatives and Republicans "nazis", yet they themselves are about as close to being nazis as anyone around today, with the exception of the Islamo-Nazis. But then again, many of the lib/dems ARE Islamo-Nazis themselves.
