"It is like Bill Clinton and Janet Reno are still controlling the ATF."
No, George Bush and Alberto Gonzales are and neither one gives a crap.

The police...They'll shoot your pets, your family and tear your house to pieces. They'll confiscate everything you own for a bag of cannabis and call it justice. The authoritarian, police mentality is ingrained in our society. Then I'd say they're part of the problem.

It worked in NOLA after Katrina. What worked? People getting their unlawfully siezed firearms back? Not really - they're requiring proof of ownership to get your gun back. This is an area that was pretty much scrambled by the hurricane. I wonder how many of us could find our purchase receipts for items we purchased 5 years, 10, 20 30 years ago.

Hi All-
Just as long as your Mendocino acquaintances are cautious of the lessons learned in the tale Sundown at Coffin Rock which was written years ago and can be seen from the embedded hyperlink.

"Never forget, even for an instant, that the one and only reason anybody has for taking your gun away is to make you weaker than he is, so he can do something to you that you wouldn’t let him do if you were equipped to prevent it. This goes for burglars, muggers, and rapists, and even more so for policemen, bureaucrats, and politicians." — Aaron Zelman and L. Neil Smith, Hope (2001)

Not if you look closely.
We are now seeing the same propaganda the Germans were inundated with in the thirties. The LA Gun Task Force is now running political ads on television.
This is just one more step on the road to firearm prohibition.
Theodore Haas, Holocaust Survivor:
"Gun Control is a Prelude to Totalitarian rule...
Before Adolph Hitler came to power, there was a black market in firearms, but the German people had been so conditioned to be law abiding, that they would never consider buying an unregistered gun. The German people really believed that only hoodlums own such guns.
What fools we were. It truly frightens me to see how the government, media, and some police groups in America are pushing for the same mindset. In my opinion, the people of America had better start asking and demanding answers to some hard questions about firearms ownership, especially if the government does not trust me to own firearms, why or how can the people be expected to trust the government?
There is no doubt in my mind that millions of lives could have been saved if the people were not "brainwashed" about gun ownership and had been well armed."

the BATFE was the most ignored of agencies when Bush came to power. It is still filled with Janet Reno's appointments.
To: Joe Brower
I just shared this with my 18 YO son, and he asked why the gun owners of California haven't strapped on their guns and marched to the judge to take him out.
I sit and wonder why we gun owners of America haven't done so. What is it going to take?
And will this post bring the Gestapo to MY door?
I hope I don't have to find out if I'll go down fighting...I like to think that I would.

Sounds like the Tree of Liberty needs watering in California. De facto registration leads to confiscation, arrest and possibly death. The wolves are going after those big, lovable, wouldn't-harm-a-flea lugs with 50cals, eating them one-by-one. The wolves can no longer be ignored.
Ir you thought the FCSA member lists were "protected," think again. How did this FCSA member get outed? BATFE at local shoots. That's all it takes: Note who has a 50cal and write down his/her name from the shooting range sign-in sheet or just observe which car he/she leaves in and write down the license plate number.
If you still have your 50cal and shot it at a match or other event, you could be compromised. Even if you sold it, shipped it out of state, you should consider arrest imminent. If you own other banned weapons, what are you doing in California?
To: Wilhelm Tell
Yeah, tell that to those who defend the election of every RINO that comes along. Just win is what you'll get, damn the consequences. As long as the person has an "R" after the last name, these people will breach walls to vote for them, and irritate anyone that points out the blantant stupidity of voting for RINOS.

Have any of you seen the most recent commercial? It shows the 50 cal. round going through two police cars (the doors) with enough energy left to be lethal.
Message to Joe Idiot Voter: anyone with one of these will be shooting at cops. (End Message).
My first response was "this gun has never been used to commit a crime in this state!!". Good for Ronnie Barret that the LEOs that bought his gun will have to get someone else to service it, since it's banning in Calif. Screw them and the benefit package/retirement/disability rip-offs that they rode in on. Badges should go only to patriots, not parasites.
Anyone who believes that those who 'serve and protect' wouldn't escort you and your family into ovens if given the order, is living in complete denial.
