Slow poll day. The only item of interest here is the House race for Sanders' current seat. Looks like the Rats will claim it (not that that's any different from Sanders, who caucused with them anyway). Douglas should have an easy election and Sanders will, unfortunately, be heading for the Senate.

...Sanders will, unfortunately, be heading for the Senate.

Pretty much a foregone conclusion. Sanders probably can't lose for any office in Redmont. But at least he's honest about who he is. Sanders is an avowed Socialist and proud of it, not like a lot of these other stealth Socialists (i.e., 'Rats).

OK state, be a Man and have a political discussion instead of trying to get me kicked off Free Republic. You have been a doom and gloomer since the summer and it is my right to criticize those who are bringing down the board with info based on polling. And in terms of you calling me a stalker that is very hateful and pathetic. I suggest you look in the mirror and stop acting like Lindsay Graham.

I heartily agree. If we made Vermont part of Canada, I would only have to drive 50 miles to get my Cuban cigars. ;-)
