19. If the election for United States Senate were held today and the candidates were Maria Cantwell, the Democrat or Mike McGavick, the Republican, whom would you vote for?

Maria Cantwell 49%
Mike McGavick 40%
Undecided 11%

Today a Survey USA poll came out that's pretty close to this (had Cantwell up 12). A few days ago Rasmussen had her up 6 points.

Looks like Cantwell's "post-DUI bounce" has disappeared and McGavick is about back where he started.

The last Strategic Vision Washington poll had Cantwell up 5.

Are they allowed to poll in the King County Jail and Regional Justice Center?

There are sad sad sad. He needs one to come out and say: I am a proud Amercian first, conservative 2nd and Republican third. I will support the military in our WOT until we emerge victorious and will work to reign in the spending in DC. I will not waver until the hard work is done.

All of these polls I have seen have shown Cantwell being ahead in eastern washington when they breakdown by region and thats a load of bs.

I think this race is tighter than the tainted polls state, but I still think Cantwell has a slight advantage right now. McGavick's campaign has been a total yawner right now.
He needs to channel the frustration and anger many have at what happened in the last governor's election.

If you believe the polls there aren't more than a handful of Republicans leading anywhere in the country. Let's just see what happens on election day. I've got a hunch that the great silent majority, who never get polled, will be out in force.

This poll is better than the one form a couple of days ago. If he can continue in the right direction he should peak around election day at the rate he is going. Hopefully enough to win.

Drug testing welfare recipients? While I might agree in principle, this is hardly something that I'm losing sleep over.
