Washington, D.C. –House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement on Speaker Hastert's press conference on the Republican cover up of the inappropriate e-mails Mark Foley sent to an underage former House Page:
“Speaker Hastert again failed to answer the question that every mother and father in America is asking: how could Republican Leaders choose partisan politics over protecting children?
“Republican Leaders admitted to knowing about Mr. Foley’s abhorrent behavior for six months to a year and failed to protect the children in their trust. Republican Leaders must be investigated by the Ethics Committee and immediately questioned under oath.”
Democrats should be under oath also, nancy-girl.

Doubt it was the Republican leaders who knew of this for six months, Nanny. YOUR team knew about it for a long time and kept their mouths shut. So much for caring for the children.
Did she even read Hastert's statement or, if that's too hard, didn't someone read it to her?
if the kid's over the age of consent (and I think he was) then this is NOT pedophelia - merely homsexual recruitment. if Pelosi has a problem with homosexual recruitment, let her come out and say so.

I believe the dhimmis knew far longer than the Republican leadership and in much greater detail about this.
AFAIK it is all about the e-mails. someone will correct me if i'm wrong.
but it is homosexuality, NOT pedophelia which is at work here. if the kid is over the age of consent, then he is not, technically, a "child" as pelosi seems to indicate.

I don't think there was physical "stuff." At least not with those two particular young men. So what we have is a case where some internet communications were used to out a guy. We all know how accurate internet/fax/copy machine communications are.
(PS I'm not saying it didn't happen, but I want the internet stuff authenicated, if possible. The story isn't gelling right)
Hmm... well, I'm pretty sure that the page was a high schooler. And it appears that the age of consent in DC is 16, and the page was probably at least that old. I can't imagine 15-year-old pages running around Capitol Hill.
Fine by me. Just as long as the 'Rats are right there along with them.

AFAIK There is no DNA. There is no blue dress.
(As opposed to the Democrats in similar circumstances, where there was DNA exchanged between the parties.)
