Now that that is out of the way I will reveal how I (and a few others) discovered Jordan Edmund was one of the former house pages that participated in sexually explicit instant messages with Rep. Mark Foley. Also I will explain to you why I believe it necessary to reveal Jordan Edmund's identity. You may not agree with my decision, but I hope to explain my reasoning by the end of this story.

I am a native of San Diego and the Edmund fellow doesn't add up.
3 of our 5 congressmen in San Diego are Repos, Duncan Hunter, Brian Bilbray and Deryl Issa.
Bilbray & Issa rep. the areas Edmund claims to have lived.

This doesn't make sense, he was going to school in Vista (an area in NE S.D.) full of Mexican gangs.
Then he is in school at Francis Parker which is one of the high tone wealthy schools in San Diego

From his myspace, what surrounds him is not a republican, even a liberal repo.

This guy is a mole or something other than what is presented.

Do you know anything about this Chip Englander? I found a couple of hits on that name linked to a Univ. of Michgan student voter's scandal. Not sure if it's the same person as I couldn't find any bio info on Englander. Here's the link:

I also found a link for him in a brief story about an episode that occurred when he was working as a spokesman for Audra Stickland in Ca. Strickland is a Republican. During the campaign, a flyer was delivered around town claiming that Strickland had taken campaign donations from a race track owned by an "abortion doctor." Here's the link to that little story. If this is in fact the same guy, it seems that bad things happen when he's around.

This is a very interesting development. The leftists at ABC will probably try to insinuate now that there were other pages besides this guy, but he seems to be linked to the worst of the IM messages & is probably the same person for several of them.

For example consider the following similarities:

- According to the PassionateAmerica blog post there's a my-space profile of Edmund that lists his interests as ballroom dancing. The redacted name in the first IM that ABC released (http://abcnews.go.com/images/WNT/02-02-03b.pdf) told Foley several times that he had been taking waltz lessons.

- Another ABC IM had a message where Foley was talking about meeting up with the redacted name in San Diego. The my-space screen cap on the blog says his hometown is San Diego.

It's a guess, but this suggests that all of ABC's IM's are from the same source, and it's this Edmund figure. ABC and the MSM have been intentionally vague about exactly how many different interns the messages come from. They all seem to show signs that it was this guy.

If that's the case the implication is significant, since he was 18 at the time - no longer the underage minor that ABC has been claiming. The messages are downright disgusting and Foley is still a freak, but that changes the nature of the scandal big time.

You know, I'm of two minds on what Passionate America did. I don't think I would have named the former page who sent the IMs if I could have made my point - that he was 18 at the time some of the IMs were sent, and that ABC News has been sloppily reporting the whole thing in an attempt to obfuscate what House Republicans knew and when they knew it - without naming him. The former page doesn't deserve the hate that some may be throwing his way now.

On the other hand, I am absolutely sick of the MSM using unnamed sources and not telling us from whom they obtained their information in their politically charged reporting. We do deserve to know whether their unnamed sources have an ax to grind and for whom.

But to out someone who was a minor at the time some of the IMs were sent? I'm not so sure I like that.
