He says he is not saying it was not a prank but later in the interview, CNN pressed him on that. He said that he -- he does not read the DRUDGE REPORT, not part of his regular reading and, quote, it sounds like a piece of fiction...

CNN REPORTER: He did say that, but important to note he says he is not ruling it in or out.

By all evidence to date, I don't think they are, or will. But someone within the Republican Party will have to be the face "spokesman" for this. The MSM will cull selective clips from any footage to ensure the person looks like a fool. Meanwhile, the rest of the Republicans are staying focused on important matters.

As mentioned earlier, I am happy to see CNN alowing some of the stuff to come out about the pages but it seemed like Wolf tried to find a way to shoot the story down a bit. Still, nothing on Fox yet. Maybe another poster is right that ol' Rupert is getting too close to Hillery.

I think the guy realizes that his direct online conversations have ignited a tremendous chain of events, possibly even resulting in tipping American government to the other side and negatively influencing the direction of the country and thereby future world events. It turns out that Jordan Edmunds was not merely one of hundreds or thousands of current and former pages, he was evidently in some kind of key official position (even if probably volunteer) for the House Page Alumni Association (meaning he was in a position to know or contact virtually anyone who has been a page, I would expect). He posts various official notices between April and July 2003 which suggest that he is some kind of officer or editor for the House Page Alumni Assn. website and newsletter. No wonder they have taken their server offline!!
