CNN REPORTER: "We asked him about that item in the DRUDGE REPORT. He said very clearly he cannot rule that in, he cannot rule that out. He says he is not saying it was not a prank but later in the interview, CNN pressed him on that. He said that he -- he does not read the DRUDGE REPORT, not part of his regular reading and, quote, it sounds like a piece of fiction...

BLITZER: He says the DRUDE REPORT item sounds like a piece of fiction?

CNN REPORTER: He did say that, but important to note he says he is not ruling it in or out.

Jones may be doing this pro bono. That he's a criminal defense lawyer, however, sure speaks volumes.

Why else does the "victim" page need a famous DEFENSE lawyer? Does not compute otherwise.

Actually, that part does compute, regardless of what actually happened.

This "victim" has seen enough of Washington to know that if there's an investigation and you're involved, you need to lawyer-up right away.

If it's a prank, he's really gonna need a lawyer -- but the mere fact of an investigation is reason enough to hire him.

It may be a prank but let's consider that this gives him major exposure and since Ok City and the execution he's not been much in the national media spotlight. This is a case that could end unified Republican control--it's HUGH. Lawyers are just as whorish as politicians, not surprise there are so many of the former also as the later.
